We enjoyed our short stay here. The host was very accommodating to let us stay for just one night as that's the longest we could manage for a couple recharge away from the kids! The house was very well set up with everything we needed. The neighbourhood is quiet but the location was a bit less private than we were expecting. Very communicative host!

Our stay at Heavenly Retreat was everything we hoped it would be. Quiet location not far from town & everything you’d want for a romantic getaway. The spa was divine, the perfect size for two & ideal to relax in after a day exploring the great walks in the area.

Amazing getaway

My partner and I had an incredible few days in this beautiful place. It was exactly as the photos show and the view from the spa was even better than expected. The property had everything we needed to cook our own meals and prepare snacks to take on our walks! The fire just finished off the space and make it feel so cosy! It was such a picturesque place especially drinking our morning coffee out on the balcony! Would highly recommend this and will be staying again the next time we are in the Grampians!

A little peace of heaven

Gorgeous spot just outside of Halls Gap, we had a wonderful 2 night stay. We had kangaroos outside when we woke up and cockatoos joining us on the balcony for breakfast - it was just as I'd hoped for a little slice of real Australia. Bottle of bubbles and choccy in the fridge was a lovely touch. It was quite cold our first night there but we managed to get the fire going (it had already been built for us so it was just a case of lighting it) and it warmed the place up nicely. There's also a reverse cycle air con unit for when you can't wait for the fire to get going (or when it's below freezing outside when you wake up!) Bed is huge and super comfy and the spa tub was wonderful. We didn't really use the kitchen other than for tea and coffee but it seemed well equipped and had plenty of space. Location is great, very quiet and surrounded by gum trees but only a 15-20 minute walk into the village for breakfast/dinner - take a torch if you're walking out for dinner as it is very dark on the way home but on a clear night the stars are amazing! Louise was a pleasure to deal with, she provided all the information we needed well in advance so we could just turn up, check in and get on with relaxing. Helpful instructions and an information binder on site meant we didn't need to contact her during our stay. I have already recommended this place to a couple of friends and would happily return in the future. Lovely relaxing end to our Victorian adventure.

Peaceful, Luxurious getaway

Located near to the town centre in the midst of the forest & wildlife. Very clean and well appointed cottage, complete with a fireplace & jacuzzi. We enjoyed the quiet and enjoyed the company of the birds in the morning & evening. Perfect retreat for couples. Suggest you store your devices away during the stay, as the wifi is intermittent.

Perfect for a couples getaway!

We found this retreat perfect for a couples romantic getaway! Lovely spot and we were greeted by two Rosella’s, two Cockatoo’s on the balcony and a big Kangaroo bouncing along just beneath us! Not sure how Louise organised this but it was beautiful. Everything you needed was there plus a ready to light fire to keep us warm and a lovely spa. It was perfect!

Beautiful house just for two.

Grampians was our little stop for 2 nights driving back from the snow this year. I could not be happier with this property we have picked. It is so beautiful. There were lots of kangaroos and emus around the driveway of the house. It was a great little break. The house was incredible! Such a great place just for two! Nice bathroom and great open layout. Everythign was thought through with heated blankets to board games. Great little folder of recommendations around the Grampians. Better than in the pictures. Would love to come back in summer so we could use the balcony space including egg chair :) Louise was very helpful in giving recommendation where to dine out and what walk to do. Thanks Louise for the great stay.

Lovely Stay

The Getaway we needed

My husband and I enjoyed stoking the beautiful fire each night and feeling so cosy and relaxed. Its perfectly situated so we could go for a walk to town each day and burn off the treats we had. What a beautiful spot in Halls Gap- we have never felt so relaxed and comfortable.

So lovely!

My partner and I had such a lovely stay. We arrived around 10pm and Louise was thoughtful enough to pop the heater on for us, so it was lovely and warm on arrival. The accomodation had everything you need and do not skimp on comforts. Great location too! We are looking forward to our next stay at the Heavanly Retreat.

Lovely weekend getaway

Great spot, for weekend away! Keep the fire going as this accommodation can be very cold(tiled floor & iron cladding) Probably getting a bit tired alround, Plenty of do's & don't type notes everywhere was like staying with your parents. For the premium price I felt like this was unnecessary, & penny pinching. Champagne was a nice touch. Lovely spa bath :)

Secluded Retreat

Loved our 2 night stay. Relax is the key word here, hop in the spa with a glass of bubbles & while away a few hours taking in the view & enjoying some quiet time. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony with the local bird life coming up to say gday. Hope to stay here again! Highly recommend for a parents weekend away or a special occasion!

DEFINITELY THE BEST HALLS GAP ACCOMODATION

I absolutely loved this place! It was in the perfect location, with shops nearby, beautiful scenery and it had everything you needed. There is a good size kitchen with a stove top to cook up meals and a relaxing spa bath to soothe your aching body after a long hike or to just relax in beauty. We arrived with chocolates and a champagne bottle on arrival which was very sweet and thoughtful. My partner and I got to feed 15 cockatoos one morning and it was hilarious and so much fun! We stayed 2 nights and regret not staying longer! We did the track to the pinnacles by wonderland carpark and also checked out mc kenzies falls and even hired the electric bikes and rode throughout town. My partner and I are keen to come back in the nearby future!

After growing up on a farm in South Australia near Robe. Nowadays we live in Richmond Melbourne so thats why we bought The Escarpment as a half way stop from where I grew up and where I live now. We started renting out properties (in Melbourne & Halls Gap) over 15 years ago. We bought The Escarpment because we wineries, gourmet food, love bush walking and mountain bike riding. Both of our properties in Halls Gap are in the same stunning elevated location up and away from Grampians Rd which can be noisy at times. We take pride in our properties and are passionate about The Grampians and all the area has to offer. We can't wait to welcome you to stay with us!

Heavenly Retreat is located in one of the best locations in Halls Gap. The property is set in an elevated position away from Grampians Rd which can be noisy. The house is on a large bush block with loads of views, space and fresh air!

Staying at Heavenly Retreat is like being in a treehouse as we have beautiful views out every window. The property is open plan with a comfy king bed with spa set in bay window we also offer a separate bathroom. We a fully stocked kitchen so you can get settled in and enjoy your stay. We have been told time and time again that our spa is one of the best and biggest guests have experienced. We have been looking after guests for many years and know exactly what it takes to create the perfect getaway for you!
