We had a lovely time. The accommodation was neat and tidy with true country charm. The pristine views of the surrounding rolling hills provided a truly spectacular escape. Our host, Bev was also very responsive and lovely.

We absolutely loved our stay at this friendly and beautiful farmstay near Gloucester! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed,no strict rules, just freedom to enjoy the space, which made it feel like a true home away from home.The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and cosy. Whether it was curling up with a book by the fireplace or soaking in the peaceful rural views, every moment was calming and enjoyable.One of the best parts? It’s perfect for pets and families! Our dog had the time of his life running around freely and exploring the open spaces. It’s rare to find a place this welcoming to both humans and furry friends alike.If you're looking for a stress-free, family-friendly getaway where you can truly unwind, breathe in fresh country air, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life, this is the place. Privacy, Views, hot tub

A very nice location. Very roomy house. Hot tub was awsome & nice big windows. This house would be great for a group of say 4 couples or more if you booked the other smaller biuldings on the property. I did feel 2 things lacking. A nice blue tooth sound system would be great & the kitchen could be better appointed, for instance no olive oil or vinegar for egg poaching. A large cast iron fry pan would be great. Just a suggestion. Anyway for us as a couple wanting a nice night alone its perfect. Its a big house for just 2 but the privacy aspect exactly what we wanted. As for location only 10 minutes from Gloucester, great butcher, IGA pubs & cafes

Great short break

Had a quiet 3 days listening to and watching the birds, including eagles and rosella, meeting the horses and swimming and paddling in the river. I highly recommend a stay at Dam it Getaway.

A lovely property, we unfortunately hit some bad weather but we found things to do. Comfortable house, any issues we had were very quickly addressed. The owner id not intrude. Pool ,& spa were great

Relaxing farmstay getaway

Host has thought of every fine detail to make this a 5 star stay. Better than the photos and spacious. Spa and pool were great. Tip: Get some carrots to feed the horses and pony which show up around 6pm.

Wonderful.

The house was perfect for us and the outlook is absolutely beautiful. The horses came up for a feed of carrots in the morning and the kids were thrilled. The pool was refreshing and needed as the day was very hot. Bev is lovely and overall a wonderful stay.

Lovely rural week away

Our teens and dog had a lovely stay. House was clean. Great location for peace and quiet. Good wifi and reception. A few kitchen essentials missing (eg oil for cooking which we happily donated) but not a big deal. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place to unwind and very pet friendly.

Good views from the property and close drive to town. Bev the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Our family and fur babies enjoyed experiencing the farm life that this property stay offered. Thanks again Bev and we hope to stay there again at the homestead in the future.

The property was lovely and clean, generous with towels for the spa and plush bathroom ones - sounds little - but made a difference and summed up the overall experience. Bev was available if we needed her and her friendly email with directions made us feel welcome before we got there!

Fantastic country getaway

Plenty to keep the kids occupied, we loved exploring with our pooches! Swimming in the pool then warming up in the hot tub. Amazing star gazing at night & views in the mornings. Great Gloucester stay, communication with Bev was excellent too. We’ll be back, thanks for such a lovely stay.
