Easy check in, amazing location and plenty of space. Loved playing pool on a rainy day. Some housekeeping issues, no soap and blown light bulbs.

Cowes stay

Overall the stay was fine. The situation of the property is good. Nice, quiet area. The house itself was a reasonably newish property. We found a few things lacking with the property. Could do with more cooking utensils, cleaning basics like dish washing liquid, more than one tea cloth for a group of 5 people staying 4 nights, etc. Just basic necessities. I would also recommend looking for new property cleaners as it looked like thecproperty just gets a very quick wipe over rather than a clean. Bathroom & toilets were very clean but the lounge & carpets could do with some attention. Just simple things could have made this a 5 star review.

Perfect Location

Overall property was very good. Location, excellent, close to shops and beach. Unable to use BBQ it was dirty. Enjoyed our stay at Cowes.

Great quiet court location. Games room garage was great. Plenty of space for families. Needed an umbrella for shade outside around the table. No washing line to dry beach towels.no garbage bags or washing up liquid. Good communication with host.

Great Host, Excellent Location

Mel is an amazing Host to deal with. Very supportive and understanding. House is as described. Great location, walking distance to the main strip.

very dirty

Bed sheets had pubic hair on them, rugs in lounge and hallway were disgustingly dirty. couldn't find remote for heating so the house was freezing. Advertised with pool table - that was damaged, and we couldn't use it. brought my elderly mum on a weekend away for the very first time and she couldn't believe the state of the house. will not be staying there again and would not recommend.

Great house, close to main street

House and neighbourhood were great. Pool table was a bonus with having older children. Unfortunately we were only offered 2 bedrooms with made up beds which made it difficult having our teenage son and adult daughter (we hired a house with min 3 bedrooms for this reason but only given 2 double beds for sleeping). Would definitely stay again however will need to communicate the need for separate beds (this has never been an issue in past so didn't think about requesting use of 3 bedrooms). House is in a great position and close to the main street.

Great location but dirty house

Loved the location of the house and it included everything listed however when we arrived it was so dirty. We had to spend the first 1-2 hours of our stay cleaning. Hair on all the bathroom floors and shower, benches dirty with food on them, bins overflowing with rubbish, wet towels and bath mats in bathrooms and food, sand all over the floor. This was disappointing since we paid so much and a cleaning fee. However the owner was good at communication and check in/ out was easy, the cleaning of the house was a real let down.

Perfect Getaway

This house was the perfect end of year getaway for my friends and I. Location was good, not too close to the business of the Main Street but not to far out either (good walking distance for morning coffee). Mel was super easy to communicate with and always replied promptly when we had any issues. We really enjoyed our time hear in Phillip Island
