The photos do not do this listing justice! It was so fresh and clean, tastefully decorated, and felt welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet, and convenient to shops, stores, and points of interest. It's a super relaxing place to stay, and I enjoyed staying here!

We ended up arriving later than we planned, but Tod arranged seemless key pick-up. He greeted us the following morning and even let us know the event we were there for, had been rescheduled - We had no idea. He gave us great recommendations to fill the time.Cottage was very comfortable and beautifully maintained.Thank you.

A Great Anniversary Trip

We went to the Outer Banks for our 35th anniversary. The apartment was very comfortable and close enough to "stuff" to walk to dinner and shopping. It was also right at the waterfront , so you could stroll along the water to go shopping or to dinner. The host was fantastic and very responsive to communication. Very quiet and in a very nice neighborhood. Very close to several good restaurants. Highly recommended place to stay.

Great place near the Outer Banks.

Clean, quiet and very walkable to the boardwalk and downtown Manteo. I would recomend it.

Beautiful home, location and ease of access to restaurants and beaches. Host was more than happy to talk with us and give his recommendations of where to eat and places to visit. This was a bucket list item for us and it did not disappoint. I would recommend staying at The Caroline Cottage

Great location!

The property was very nice, perfect size for two adults. The rooms were laid out well with a nice small full kitchen and roomy bathroom. We enjoy the location, it was in walking distance to downtown Manteo which is exactly what we were looking for. Such a cute little town. The owner reached out and made sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing Property!

My wife and I just experienced a wonderful trip to Manteo. We travel there multiple times a year. This was our first time at this property. It was very clean and convenient to downtown Manteo. We were within walking distance to several stores and restaurants. Tod was an incredible host and very helpful. We plan to stay at this property again in the near future.

Fantastic weekend away!

This is a fabulous cottage for a couple looking to explore Manteo and Roanoke Island. The location is perfect for walking around the historic downtown area, as well as for driving into NagsHead!! Everything wa clean and well stocked. Tod answered our questions and had great restaurant recommendations

Manteo Birding Trip

My wife and I had a similar photography trip to Manteo last fall, but wanted to stay somewhere outside of the dense timeshares and multi family settings, which drove my initial search in the area. Found this great standalone cottage that was perfectly set up for our stay and in a great location. The owner communication was great and for the first time in over a dozen VRBO rental experiences, we were actually greeted by the owner. Tod was very welcoming and the property was everything it was advertised to be. Made a perfect ‘Home Base’ for trips to Alligator River NWR, Pea Island and Lake Mattamuskeet. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful area

Location, location, location

Perfect Girls Getaway

My sister and I found this property to be the perfect spot for a nice getaway at the Outer Banks. The house was extremely clean and the communication with Tod was very clear and helpful. We enjoyed walking around the historic neighborhood and found the location to be very close to everything we wanted to do.
