Enjoy stunning views from both front and back in this 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath top-floor condo with elevator access and designated covered parking. Perfectly located in Shallowbag Bay Marina on Roanoke Island in Manteo, NC.

The open-concept living space is bright and welcoming, with comfortable seating that showcases the bay and marina views. The large kitchen, complete with a wet bar, is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms provide plenty of space for family or friends. Covered, designated parking is conveniently located near the elevator entrance.

Step out onto the front and back decks to relax and soak in the surroundings. The front deck overlooks the marina, Roanoke Sound, and downtown Manteo—perfect for sunsets or morning coffee. The back balcony is a nature lover’s paradise, with otters, waterfowl, and even occasional bald eagle sightings.

Guests enjoy access to the community pool and fitness center, plus on-site dining at Salt and Cypress. The public beach is just a short drive away, and historic downtown Manteo’s waterfront, shops, restaurants, and entertainment are all within walking distance.

Everything about our stay was fantastic! Open and welcoming communications from the Host, Clean and Very Nice Condo, great ground-floor parking large enough for at least two cars, fantastic location in Manteo, etc. Great views from all sides of the condo and elevator access to the ground floor. Look forward to staying again!

We love this property, it was our second year in a row staying here. It was perfect for our needs as two older couples. The hosts are very responsive. The views are amazing. The beds are very comfy. It’s very quiet & relaxing. It’s within walking distance of Darrel’s, The Christmas Shop and several other places. There’s a board walk if you want to walk along the water. We appreciated having the Keurig, which seemed faster than a normal Keurig, perfect for another cup of coffee at the spur of the moment. We noticed the dishwasher is a little noisy, can’t run it while you’re watching TV, according to my husband, lol.

This is an exceptional and welcoming home. A beautiful and central location on a lovely and quiet marina. It is pristine and so well set up and stocked. It is loaded with sunshine and views and decks. And the two parking spots are such a help. Jeremy and Megan were incredible kind and responsive. We will certainly return!

Great Place

Beautiful place, clean and well taken care of. Owners were very responsive. The pool was great when the ocean was full of jellyfish and sealice. The soap pumps and trash bags were much appreciated. This place had the little things everyone needs and that meant a lot. Highly recommend this place.

Great location for a relaxing stay near Nags Head

We had a wonderful time. The condo had everything we needed including plenty of towels, paper products, soap and shampoo. As someone who likes to workout on vacation, the gym was phenomenal. The complex is quiet with great views on both sides. The little town of Monteo was so cute and it was a great option to avoid the hustle and bustle of the beach. Beds were great for those who like a firm mattress. The owners left amazing restaurant recommendations. I also highly recommend visiting the Alligator River nature preserve at dusk to see the bears. We also enjoyed Coquina beach and the beach at Janette’s peer.

Rested and Relaxed

We took a long weekend away just to chill. Shallow Bay is the perfect spot for peace and quiet. The condo was exactly what we needed. Having Spripers Bar and Grille so close by made it perfect.The host is very friendly and responsive. We will rent here again.

Pre-Labor Day family week in Manteo

We stayed at this property with our two adult children for the week leading up to Labor Day. We love Manteo for the low-key vibes yet convenient access to everything the Outer Banks has to offer. This well-maintained, well-equipped condo in the Shallowbag Bay club offered great views, peace and quiet, and the convenience of a quick walk into town or a short drive to the beaches. Everything was just as described and check-in/out were easy, with great communication throughout. Highly recommended.

Lovely property

We all enjoyed at our stay at this property. My favorite was the views from the top. I could have sat there all day watching the boats come and go plus the pelicans. The host was more than welcoming and very informative. Also kept great communication when needed. The last little touch I thought was great was the Rae Dunn in the kitchen and bathrooms filled with soaps. The makeup towels were great too! You won’t regret staying at this beautiful property. We have stayed at Shallowbag since 2019 and loved every year there.

A Great Peaceful Getaway Property

This property provides a peaceful, comfortable and convenient location to enjoy all of what the Outer Banks has to offer. We found that the condo was exactly as advertised and more that met our expectations. The views from the decks were spectacular and provided that tranquil setting to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a place to sit and take in the amazing sunsets in the evening. The condo had everything we needed for our stay and the owners were quick and attentive to answer any questions or concerns that came up. The common areas of the property were well kept and maintained. There were also many amenities that were available onsite to enjoy during our visit. We were thoroughly pleased that we selected the location for our vacation.

Beautiful!

This place was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Having our morning coffee on the front deck with views of the boats and sound were wonderful. Easy access to most everything. The host were very gracious and easy to communicate with. Definitely well worth the trip!
