The view is spectacular! The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, 185.00 fee isn’t put to good use! So many vertical blinds missing, the couch looks like it’s had a lot of action on it , dishwasher doesn’t look like it would work, maybe why there was only 1 pod for it. Baseboards and carpets well…. I’ll leave it there. It show very well in pictures I’ll say. It could definitely use some love. Parking is tight if you have a bigger car. Loved the area though.

Place had great views, convenient to Waikiki, but not in it. Internet was absolutely terrible. Thankfully we had our own built in on our cells. Bed very comfortable. I think they need a better cleaning service. The place didn’t seem that clean. Shower curtain smelled, stains on living room couch etc. still had vertical blinds with lots of the panels missing. Just seemed run down.

Great location just outside hustle & bustle of Waikiki

Location was perfect just outside of Waikiki. Used Kaimana as our home beach for kids. Rented a car a few days from rental on southside of Waikiki. Short walk there, bus back. Nice to be outside of Waikiki traffic when driving to other parts of island. Nicely equipped condo. AC a bit noisy, but not big issue.

Close to action, and far enough for it to be green and calm

We enjoyed all it had to offer!! Loved the balcony, view and 2 bedrooms gave all of us plenty of space and privacy.

Well equipped property in a very convenient location

Christmas vacation

The description of the property was spot on. The only surprise was the beautiful view from the lanai, there are no words that can accurately describe how awesome and amazing it is, you have to see it for yourself. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and space just needs a bit more attention to keep kitchen clean

Location and view were fantastic. Indoor furniture is dated and uncomfortable should have a nicer at least comfortable couch for price… Also patio needs the couch pulled out and a good sweep….Biggest challenge was lack of basic supplies to keep the kitchen clean for ourselves and the next guests…kitchen was not very well equipped we were left two dishwasher pods for a ten day stay making keeping the dishes clean a challenge we were left a quarter small container of dish soap meaning the dishes and pots were not easy to keep clean and were left three small kitchen garbage bags

Had the most awesome time. The kitchen has a great sink, stove and fridge. Sitting in the garden area watching the sun set is life-changing. The Hawaiian people are great. Mahalo.

Beautiful view and location

Location was amazing, just 15 minutes walk to Wakiki. Right on the ocean with a deck to sit out and enjoy the beautiful view. The only issue was the poor cleanliness. Had to wash all silverware and dishes before using. Floors, Stove and counter tops were dirty. Overall, would recommend staying here.

Great rental

The condo was perfect for us. We had two teenagers with us and they had their own room. It was a great location away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but close enough to walk to everything. The decor could use a refresh as it’s a little outdated and the couch in the living room is really uncomfortable. My only critique is that the Vrbo app wasn’t a great way to contact the owner. It was “having issues “ for the majority of our stay. Not sure what was going on there.

Spacious living quarters, well appointed

This was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed many hours on the balcony sofa overlooking the water. Unlike other condos, this one has a window in the living room allowing you to see the ocean from inside as well. We were delighted to find beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, and beach towels available to use. We did not purchase parking, but it was never difficult to find parking on Paki Ave. nearby. Overall this was a great condo - we would definitely reserve this one again!

Perfect location. Awesome views

The condo is so spacious. We are a family of 4 with college age kids and had plenty of room in it. The lanai adds up to another room. The views are incredible on the ocean side and at the same time you can see the Diamond Head right next to you from the hallway. The opposite side opens up the view of Waikiki where they had fireworks one night. The place is sparkling clean and had all the dishes you need. Our flight was leaving late in the evening and the host accommodated us to stay later in the condo.

Recommend for all want to make vacation wonderful

I had great family reunion at this property. I usually find rental at Kailua to avoid busy atmosphere at Waikiki, but this time try diamond head area since I know there is great Kaimana beach, bit slow neighborhood, and also close to shopping and restaurants. Finally it was concluded as right decision. My family enjoyed nice ocean view and diamond head view, and played at Kapiolani park which is just front of the development. Kaimana beach is just few minutes walk from property, and we enjoyed there at everyday. Property is not like super fancy, but it is relaxing atmosphere where we are looking for. It is really quiet in night, which give us relaxing time. Once thing we may need to note is kitchen wares are minimum, which is not big problem for people going out for dining, but could be a concern for people dining there. I hope it will be addressed by owner in future.

Wonderful home away from home

The balcony was like a little tranquil spot with the right amount of breeze, lovely view and nature sounds morning and night. It was definitely paradise. We were within walking distance of the beach and shopping. I personally enjoyed watching the surfers riding the waves and hearing the waves crash below. One night I even fell asleep for a little bit to the sound. We decided not to rent a car during our stay which was the perfect choice for my family and me. We bought trolley tickets on day 3 of 6 and enjoyed the guides of the Waikiki Trolley and took trips to some amazing locations. I 100% would recommend booking a stay here. Mark, our property manager was always quick to respond and very friendly. There were items we could take to the beach and use like snorkeling gear, beach towels, chairs and an umbrella. The people we encountered at this location were friendly as well. Grounds were well kept and the environment was all outstanding. When we decide to come back if this location is available it will be my number 1 place to search for.

A vacation Gem

The condo was exactly like the pictures. It was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils one needs to prepare and store a meal. It was great having a microwave and a refrigerator with an ice maker. The master bedroom had a nice view of the Waikiki hotel skyline. There was plenty of closet space and the queen size bed was very comfortable. I never got the TV in the bedroom to work, but I think that it was me who was unfamiliar with the remotes. My vacation buddy sleep in the other bedroom and had no complaints. We did notice that the cold water took awhile to cool down and we were guesting that the water tanks might be on the roof, where they might be exposed to the sun. If you turned on the shower and the setting was on cold it took about 5 mins to actually become cold. I didn't want to waste water so that might have to be looked into by mgmnt. The best part of our stay was the amazing view of the ocean from the lanai. We had our coffee on the lanai every morning and also the trade winds blowing felt great. The view of Diamond Head and the water fountain across the street was beautiful. You're about a 1/2 mile away from the main tourist hangout of Waikiki. We walked and took Lyft and Uber with no problems. I have been to Oahu and have stayed in many different condos and by far, this one was one of my top 3 places to stay. I would definitely stay there again!! Well worth the price and the peace and quiet. Mahalo Victoria

Great location! Great condo!

We loved this condo in the Diamond Head/ Waikiki area. Let me start with the very few negatives: 1- everything in Honolulu feels dated. Meaning, it looks like most buildings were built in the 70s. 2- with that said, expect dated elements in the condo too. Low, popcorn ceilings, vertical blinds. No big deal, just letting you know. 3- the sofa is very firm and uncomfortable but we spent most of our time on the FANTASTIC balcony so it was not an issue. 4- the listing has the 2nd bedroom with 2 double beds. They are SINGLES, not doubles. The PROS: 1- we loved the location!! It felt very safe and it's across from a vibrant park that gives you a local feel. The parking is a little tough at times but we could usually find a spot around the park or in the metered area. It was free overnight. 2- the oceanfront view is the best, the balcony is comfortable and there is a grassy courtyard right on the water that is perfect for sunbathing without sand. 3- You are less than a mile from the Waikiki area, including a Starbucks. ;-) I would walk there every morning and the sidewalk would be busy with runners. 4- there are beaches all along the route from the condo to the heart of Waikiki so it's easy to find a spot you like. Chairs are provided at the condo. 5- check in was easy and there is an elevator to the 7th floor. Only 1 elevator but we never had to wait long. 6- the kitchen was sufficient and the beds were comfy. They supplied plenty of towels and beach towels. Thanks!
