Great place

The condo was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. I chose it because it was listed as ski in/ski out. To us, ski in/ski out means I can clip in from the condo or take a short walk and be at the lifts. Unfortunately, we still had to drive down to the main parking lot in order to get to the lifts. To be fair, that may have been mentioned in the description and I just missed it, but it worked out fine and we figured out our system. The condo was super clean and very safe and we had a blast. Everything else was as described and the owner was awesome at communicating.

Awesome Stay....

This condo was so convenient to Sugar Mountain. Property was exactly as it stated in the description/pictures. Close to multiple restaurants. Enjoyed all the food! Grands loved tubing especially since there was fresh snow! Would definitely stay again.

Cozy and spacious, easy to get to slopes

We had fun! it was great for my boys and nice they could walk to ski and just as easy to drop them off right out front. Super quick trip to town too!

I’m not sure where the other reviewers stayed that said this was a clean condo. It was not for us.

The dust balls, dried food crusted all over the sink, dishes filling the dishwasher, food in the bottom of the dishwasher, an old water bottle and more dust under the ‘master’ bed, and very dirty baseboards welcomed us to the condo. I didn’t expect to find it so dirty, and I sent pictures to the property manager (Jeff is not the owner). They barely refunded the cleaning fee (the person before me should have there’s refunded as well!) I will 100% know what to do next time if a VRBO rental is so dirty. I do not recommend staying here.

We were happy with our stay at this property. It’s an extremely close walk to the Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, had a comfortable living/kitchen area, and was clean. Would stay again.

Great family get away

We had a fabulous time introducing our family to skiing. Quick walk from the condo to the lifts. Cozy accommodations at the condo. We spent a lot of time around the fireplace together! Fully furnished kitchen allowed us to cook and stay in after a day of skiing. Host was easily accessible and responded quickly. We had a great time!

Great cabin

Clean cabin within walking distance of ski lifts. Check in was super simple. We very much enjoyed our time in the condo. Communication with Jeff was easy via text. He was very helpful and responded very quickly. We had a great time!

Utilities needed nudging

We did not expect that there was no air conditioning. However, even though the first couple of days were very warm, the unit was comfortable. The range panel did not work until we reset the breaker. The fourth bedroom is a small loft for kids. In spit eof these, the overall stay was quite good for us.

Perfect Stay

We had a great time a Sugar! The location of the condo was perfect. Short walk to the slopes. Beds were very comfortable especially after skiing all day. There was 6 of us and we had plenty of room. Jeff was a great host and quick to respond even while he was on his own vacation.

Perfect location

If you’re looking for a rental for the family that’s in a great location, this is the one. We spent 4 days snowboarding and walked from the condo to Sugar Mountain. It’s about a 10 minute walk and not too strenuous. Jeff is a great host. He was very informative and laid out everything you need to know perfectly. There’s also a list of things to do and places to eat listed on the fridge. We couldn’t ask for better. Since VRBO charges a pretty good fee for housekeeping, I think it’s important to bring up that they could do a better job in certain areas of the condo. I believe this lies solely on VRBO to make sure their personnel are doing their job properly. Besides that, I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

Great location

Had a great time with my girlfriends in the mountains, this is a great base to explore the cute towns, wineries and landmarks in the area. I loved that we never seemed to be in the traffic, always going the other way and close to great restaurants and shopping. Great communication, really appreciated your help!

Nice Cozy Condo

Cute little condo but much smaller than the pictures. No air conditioning so it got a little stuffy inside. Opening windows helps. Kitchen pots/pan were a little haphazard and there were no kid friendly cups/dishes. Cleanliness was just ok. Overall, we like the place and had a great stay.

Great getaway!

This was a great place to stay! The unit was generously appointed with everything we needed and more! The owner was great to work with and very accommodating to any questions / needs we had. Someone in our party left their keys at the unit and the owner graciously mailed them back to us. Thanks again! We would recommend this place and would love to come back!

Settled in for a white Christmas

We really managed to settle into this home for the short period we were there. We got lucky and had snowfall on Christmas Eve and woke to a glorious white Christmas. Settled in comfortably into the home during that time and the location really allowed us to maximize our enjoyment; was only a short walk down to the ski lodge where we were able to gear up and hit the slopes quickly.
