My husband Peter, and I, are mad (some may say insane) renovators. We originally began our renovating frenzy in our early twenties in rural Western Australia, and after carrying this dream throughout Australia, we found ourselves in Bunbury in 2008. Our first project was a derelict heritage railway cottage in Ednie Street, our current home. It may have been difficult to see the potential in this neglected house, but after pulling it almost completely apart and putting it back together, piece by piece, it became our beautiful home. We have since carried out the same process on our beautiful Bluebird Cottage, and have just completed the same works on our Railway Cottage. Our passion for restoring these beautiful heritage properties to their former state of grandeur, continues to grow, and will likely never change. When we aren't buried under mountains of rubble or cavorting in amongst roof cavities, we enjoy taking the delightful short stroll into the Bunbury centre for dinner, a coffee, or a glass of red wine. Bunbury has a plethora of food options and we enjoy eating out regularly.
