We absolutely loved this location. My daughter made friends with one of the cats on the property as well. If we go visit family in that area we will definitely book this cute little place again.

We have a daughter that plays volleyball at college in Moberly. We decided instead of making the drive up and back for her game, we would make a getaway of it. I desperately hate chain hotels from years of Club and I stumbled upon this gem while looking for something different. Process was simple from start to finish. Property was very clean and just as described. We even brought our poles for some evening fishing. We’ve already booked for the next home game. Can’t wait to return!

Peaceful break from the road

Kendra's place is surrounded by woods. We woke up to bright yellow mayflies everywhere. Magical! We caught a glimpse of a child at the house next door, but otherwise very private and safe. Thank you!

Beautiful, Quiet, and Relaxing

This rental was exactly as pictured, though what you can’t see in the photos is all of the attention to detail…it is by far the cleanest place I ever have stayed (I mean, even the bathtub was immaculate!), there was a very well stocked coffee bar area, extra towels and pillows were easy to find, plus there were lots of books and dvds for all ages. The morning light is gorgeous, and I enjoyed sitting on the couch and drinking coffee and just soaking in the quiet. Kendra was always quick to respond to any question I had, and checking in and out was a breeze. With her directions, it’s not hard to find, and you are close to all kinds of fun places while still feeling removed from the city! I felt very safe there by myself, and will definitely consider staying there again on future trips!

Loved it!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Delightful Studio in the woods! This space was exactly as described. 15-20 minutes from Columbia. Very clean and cozy with thoughtful and stylish décor throughout. There were games, puzzles, books, DVDs and a small collection of toys that our 5 yr old enjoyed. Plenty of linens and towels were provided too. My family of five needed a place to crash during a weekend of basketball tournaments in Columbia. I was a little hesitant renting this studio because the queen bed was the only actual bed provided. Thankfully, the included air mattress and fold out couch were good enough for our kids including 2 boys over 6' lol. FYI, the queen mattress is VERY firm, but there is a provided foam topper in the closet (if you don’t need it for the air mattress). This place is so much better than a hotel room. Just book it, you wont be disappointed. We will defiantly stay here again!

Sisters weekend getaway

My sisters and I stayed at the property for Mizzou Family weekend. We loved everything about the property and was welcomed with a custom Welcome sign and snacks. The property was clean, cozy and matched the description. We would stay here again.

Hotels just cannot compare to this!

I’m so happy that I found this beautiful space! Kendra was a joy to work with, quickly answering all my questions before I booked, and was a great help when I needed to add an additional night to our original stay! Communication was exceptional with her, she was always accessible, even with our 1 am arrival time, she made sure the room temp was perfect and the area was well lit! This is the cleanest and most beautiful cottage we’ve ever stayed at, and the personal touches were very impressive. The minute we walked up the stairs, it felt like home, minus the stress of the 6 hr drive! Her personalized welcome sign, little snack basket, warm and comfy layout was just perfect! This cottage and location transforms one’s state of mind for the better. 😊 We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Kendra for your hospitality, thoughtfulness and for creating such a piece of heaven for us to visit. This 5 🌟 cottage was more affordable and all around nicer than any hotel, and definitely worth the stay if you’re visiting the Mizzou area!

Absolutely perfect!!

The property is perfect- the location, the atmosphere, amenities, it is ideal! It’s just minutes outside of a large suburban area, but secluded with no view of surrounding neighbors. Kendra put so much thought into every single detail! From extra remote batteries, extra bedding, rain boots and umbrellas, snacks, drinks, books for all ages! There were thunderstorms my whole stay, and it was still AMAZING. There’s a picnic area, mini beach set up, fire pit area, hammocks, walking paths, kayaks, zero gravity chairs- the possibilities are endless!! Can’t wait to go back!!

Country retreat and treat!

We so enjoyed this beautiful, serene setting and well appointed studio! It was even better than the listing pictures! The studio is large, bright and tastefully decorated in a country retreat-like environment. Every detail was attended to and the studio was comfortable and spotless! And our host Kendra was so helpful and communicated directions to get there and for self-check in and accessing WiFi. We highly recommend this country studio close to Columbia, MO!

Great Experience!

Quick Getaway

My wife and I needed a night away from work, kids, etc... Our stay was excellent and provided the very-much needed down time. It's close to Columbia, MO and we had a nice dinner at the Flat Branch Restaurant. We would definitely consider staying again!
