Excellent location near beach

Perfect accommodation for family with adults and 1 child. Everything was provided, including games and kids toys. Beach and playground across the road. Close to Minnamurra river waterways with calm waters to enjoy a swim or picnic .

Perfect for family stay

We had 4 adults and 2 small children. The house was good for us all. Lovely bright kitchen/dining/lounge area with beautiful view to beach. Great location for everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Convenient and cosy family accommodation

We were very happy with the family friendly cosy accommodation. The host was very easy to communicate with and provided as support in advance and was easy to reach. Proximity to the beach and the playground across the street was great for our grandchildren. We had a relaxing stay here and hope to return. Thank you Fleur, you have been a great host.

December extended weekend

Brilliant location, close to beach and golf course. Walking distance to shops and short drive to Kiama main centre. Place is well equipped and has a really nice aspect. Was perfect for a short getaway with young kids.

Great, renovated beach shack in family friendly location

Our family enjoyed this renovated beach house on the doorstep of Jones Beach. Perfect walking distance to nearby shops, park and beach and short drive to Kiama.

Perfect family stay.

Amazing. The location is everything! Iga and coffee shops are just 200m from the door. The beach and park is across the road. Short drive into kiama. Perfect. I want to live there.

So, so good

Just got back from our weekend at Kiama Aspect and I want to head straight back! Such a lovely house, perfectly situated across from a playground and beach, with big open windows/deck at the front so you can take advantage of the view. The house is well furnished and very clean. The full cupboard of board games and books was an extra bonus. Our two kids, aged 2 and 4, were in heaven. Both Philip the owner, and Kate, the cleaner/manager, were very responsive and super friendly and accommodating. Overall, great experience and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Super location for a coastal beach Getaway

Awesome home away from home, right across the road from the beach. All the creature comforts you would need for a coastal beach break. Walking distance to great local style shops, good coffee. Excellent headland walk. This place is located across the road from the kids park, so you can be a part of the action or watch the world come and go. Beds are comfy. Kitchen has all the goodies you need. Bathrooms are bang on. Huge backyard and ample off street parking. We are looking forward to getting back there real soon.

Family beach getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Kiama Downs. It was a great location for walks on the beach and easy access to Kiama. The local IGA is great and the house was great for a family of 5.

Dear Guest, I am quite a mixture. My father was a Belgian/ East German born Count, he became an agricultural scientist who married a Ukrainian university student during World War 2. The family lost everything during the war including the family castle. Our family migrated to Australia in 1952 and became Australian in 1956. I had a barefoot and care free childhood in a very small country town. 21 years later I also met my husband in that same small town - I had just graduated as a teacher and he an optometrist. However now I prefer to do a bit of Office Administration and manage Kiama Aspect on Jones Beach our HomeAway from home. We bought the house in 1987 when our daughter was 5. We only starting hosting guests from 1999 and that activity has given me a lot of pleasure and a job. It has given 3 other people part time jobs as well. The house has benefited enormously from having guests in the form of facilitating renovations and I hope guests have benefited from having lovely relaxing holidays in a really interesting and diverse area and of course with in view of the sea - Kiama's Jones Beach. It has been a pleasure to share the house and the region with you all.

We chose this region and Kiama Aspect on Jones' Beach in particular because it was the closest point to the sea from our small country town in Central West NSW. The country roads to travel to it were the straightest. It was only a 2 hour train trip to get to Sydney and in 25 minutes or less Wollongong and Shellharbour were in reach with their wonderful shopping facilities. The food hall in both areas are superb. Why Kiama Aspect on Jones Beach - When you come from a small country town in Central NSW, once per year at least you have the great desire to see the sea. And if you are at the sea, ideally you want to see it every time you glance in that direction. There is something special about the sea. Swimming in the sea - somehow resets your compass for the working year ahead. It clears your mind. Kiama Aspect on Jones Beach was perfect for us, the township, shops, the restaurants, the Kiama Blowhole - it's a one stop location that offers just about everything. Including the golf course and club 900 metres away.
