Comfortable, quiet place with easy access to everything Vegas.

We have stayed at this property multiple times now and always have the same result. A very nice, comfortable quiet stay, and tons of fun.

Quick trip

We rented this place as we were staying in Vegas for a conference. We have stayed here several times. It’s great for those who don’t want to be surrounded by the chaos that can be the strip while also not being far from it.

Good Stay

Overall good stay. The property is in a good location, easy walk or Uber ride to anywhere in Vegas. As a whole the property could use some updates, its age is showing in the halls and suites. Biggest negative is the set up of the master bathroom and bedroom. There are no walls or doors separating the two rooms which makes getting ready in private or without waking someone up hard to do. Overall good stay, much better than a hotel room.

Good location and right amount of beds. Timeshare sales was annoying.

It was overall a good place. I was a bit put off by big glops of hair on the shower wall and silverware the wasn't fully clean. The timeshare pitch was annoying after a long flight and had to be firm with them that I wasn't interested. 24MB internet wasn't great but it got the job done. Access around the facility was a breeze and the accommodations were nice., i.e. heated pool and sauna. Two rooms with plenty of bedding was great for 3 men. I would use it again; but know that it's mid tier and won't impress on luxury.

Location is Convenient to Shopping, Activities & Strip

We loved the space for a family of 4 with older teenagers. The 2 bedroom suite was plenty of room for us and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The room could have been a little cleaner but I wouldn't say that the rooms were dirty. They just need a little extra TLC because of their age. The location is very convenient to shopping and the strip. The hotel shuttle was VERY helpful and saved us a lot of money on Uber/Lyft. The wait for food at the Oasis Restaurant in the hotel was over an hour just about every day we were there. The food is good but it is very over priced for what we were getting and the amount of time it took to take and get orders. We checked in pretty late but did not have any problems getting checked in. Everyone was friendly and we did not have an overly pushy person try to "sell us" on the timeshare. They were very respectful of our time and how tired we were from traveling. Overall, we had a good stay here.

Great Place to Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Very clean condo. Never saw any trash around the property either. The listing is just how the place looks. Free shuttle to Strip every 30-40 min. The only reason I chose not to give 5 stars is the Time Share salespeople who wont take no for an answer. High pressure sales/cut throat is not my idea of a good time in Vegas. We have no desire to ever own a Time Share so why waste your time and my time? No means No. This place would be the perfect getaway if it werent for the time share people. We could not complete our check in until we visited the time share people to get our "wristbands". Having never stayed here before, you can totally survive with out the wristband! If Wyndham trains their times share salespeople to understand the meaning of NO or NOT Interested, we would return for another visit. Until then, we enjoyed our room, enjoyed our view, enjoyed the ease of booking and communicating with company that we rented thru.

Family Vacation

Our suite was exactly as described. The gal that checked us in was extremely kind and helpful. The Tiki Bar and Cafe’ employees were over the top. The resort was clean and safe and we had a wonderful time. Already booked our next stay!

Birthday Celebration / Beautiful property

Here to celebrate daughter’s 36th birthday!!. We loved our stay at The Wyndham Grand Desert Resort. Check in and check out simple and fast. Management and all staff members we encountered were welcoming, pleasant, professional and accommodating. The unit furnishings are modern and the kitchen has all your essentials (no blender). Large dining room table that seated at least six. The bathrooms are good size and master has a jetted tub. The beds were, oh so comfortable!! The resort amenities and pools were great, especially the pool/hot tub, that stayed open 24 hours. We were a late check in after midnight and unfortunately the unit was not cleaned very well. We began to clean unit with disinfectant wipes and called down to the front desk. A manager came up immediately to view the issues of our concerns and offered to relocate us to another unit and or have our unit cleaned and sanitized again in the morning.. We did go and view the other unit and it had less minor cleaning issues, but still some issues, so we decided to finish cleaning our unit and stay there. Unfortunately this resort as with many of these types of properties are all so under staffed, but are doing their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible!!! The efforts made by the manager to accommodate us and resolve our issues (this time it’s after 1:30 a.m.) were greatly appreciated. The resort is not to far from the strip (resort offers shuttle to the strip) and close to stores. The resort is a time share property and they do offer their pitch for time share ownership. If not your thing, refuse and continue your great vacation there. The Wyndham Grand Desert is our new destination vacation spot and we will come again. We highly recommend staying at this property.

Shuttle:
The resort offers a free shuttle to and from the Las Vegas Strip. The shuttle is ran by a third party company, and its hours and service may vary. Please inquire about the shuttle's hours at the front desk upon arrival.

Bus:
Bus stops are marked by signs with the blue, white and gold RTC Transit logo; most have shelters. The most useful bus for tourists is the Deuce: named as it’s a double-decker bus, it travels the length of Las Vegas Boulevard from the BTC in the north to just by I-215 in the south, stopping in front of all major casinos. Deuces are often busy, especially at night.

Monorail:
The Las Vegas Monorail is now running a reliable service along Paradise Road and then behind the Strip. For direct tickets, go to the Las Vegas Monorail, (lvmonorail) site.

Taxi, limo, Uber and Lyft are other transportation options.

Resort amenities are available, except where prohibited by state or local mandate. Please note: Kids Clubs are temporarily closed. (This is subject to change by the resort at anytime.)
