In a quiet and clean place

The place is well located in the center of Madeira, an ideal spot if you have a car to explore the island. The apartment was clean, well equipped with everything needed for a great stay, and just like in the photos. We received a very warm welcome and the instructions were clear. I highly recommend it. Thank you to the host for making our stay so pleasant!

Nice house

It is a nice house. Clean. Would be nice to know before you book that there are people living above you. But that was not a problem. Owner response quickly. Good location.

Fantastic stay at Camara de Lobos

Uitstekend. Heel attente host en erg goed schoon en verzorgd appartement. Heerlijke bedden. Het enige minpuntje dat ik kan bedenken is dat het best ver lopen was naar winkels en centrum. In ruil daarvoor wel heel veel rust en ruimte. Heel veel dank en we komen graag terug! Ariane

Überraschung bei der Ankunft

Die Wohnung ist nur über Treppen erreichbar: Entweder von der Straße mit Parkplätzen 95 Stufen noch oben oder von einer anderen Straße mit eingeschränkten Parkmöglichkeiten 115 Stufen abwärts. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, aber mit Möblierung und die Küchenausstattung waren wir nicht zufrieden.

Spotlessy clean and toddler friendly!

We had a wonderful time - the apartment was beautifully clean and really well equipped in terms of kitchen utensils etc. Our host was also very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive in any way. The views from the terrace are beautiful and we enjoyed being in a neighbourhood where there are very few tourists. Our 1 year old had a lovely time running around on the terrace and it was very safe for him as it is totally enclosed with railings Some things are not listed on Home Away, which may be useful for other guests - a cot is available if required, and there is also a washing machine. It wasn't a problem to us, and in fact it added to the experience, but the only access to the apartment is via paths and steps as there is no road immediately adjacent to the property. Overall, an excellent apartment and in a great location for accessing different areas of the island.

having dinners with my friends watching sunsets or either surf in the nearest beach of my house are my favourite hobbies .
the host will be my mom a lovely kind lady that will provide everything you need and even cook and share everything at your service.
she as been living in madeira for more than 40 years she will help you in everything .

This property is one of the few, where you can feel the madeiran island vibe,and culture surrounded by banana trees and other nature.
It is previligied in a quiet zone perfect for the people that love nature and want to spend a bit out of the town lifestyle.
Also there is great landscapes, the best thing to do is heading to camara de lobos vilage just 10 minutes walking and enjoy all the fun surroundings, restaurants, and pubs near the beach.
Also nearby cabo girao touristic point and is just 15-20 minutes driving to the capital funchal .
