My family and I visited during Spring Break 2019.
The condo itself and extras within the condo are fantastic (modern appliances, very comfortable beds, very clean, clean and perfectly located swimming pool).
Our main reason for choosing this particular condo was the direct access from the porch to the pool/spa/beach areas. We were unable to use this condo feature for the duration of our stay due to safety concerns associated with wide areas of missing and broken tile. In discussing this topic with the local condo residents; the tile has been breaking for months and repairs will be part of a future condo assessment.
The management company for this property (Great Ocean Condos) was unable to rectify the safety concerns or fully compensate the paid premium for ground floor access to the pool/beach areas.
My recommendation is for any future renters to ask for confirmation that the pictures used to describe the condo are showing the property's current state.
My recommendation for any owners looking to use to use Great Ocean Condos as a conduit to accessing renters is to ensure that the management company you choose is enabled to address safety and other significant concerns from your renters. After all, you, the owner, are paying a premium for a management company to properly manage your property.
