Ideal lake home getaway

We really enjoyed this property. It’s located in a perfect spot close to Garven Gardens and Lake Catherine State Park. Both in which we brought the dog. The highway to the home is easy to get to the Hot Springs strip. We had ample enough space for a couple and small dog. The back porch was my favorite spot. I had morning coffee and my pooch sniffed around the gated porch. The neighborhood is really nice and quaint. We already gave this listing to a friend who wants to bring their family next summer.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location was perfect: close enough to local attractions and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful for relaxing evenings. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space, which made morning coffee and sunset gatherings extra special.Our host was exceptional—quick to respond, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This home did not disappoint!! It was beautiful, the location right on Lake Hamilton was perfect and sooo peaceful and relaxing!! There were a few minor issues, but the local contact, Jerry was very apologetic and accommodating. Even so, the issues did not detract from us having an AMAZING stay in this house that felt so much like home!!

Could have been better

The host was very responsive to our needs. A/C went out and they have someone their with in 20 minutes to fix it. Sleep accommodation could be better, one room had a king bed, one room had a queen bed, the other rooms had full and double beds in them. So for 10 adult people the sleeping accommodation's were tough. Especially for the couples that had the full/double beds.

A beautiful and relaxing place to gather with friends.

The house and location exceeded our expectations. Rooms and deck were spacious. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the lake view was spectacular. We plan to return in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Property could use some TLC.

My background includes Licensed Realtor and trained housing inspection (AHIT certification). A/C filters completely plugged; I would say as much as 2 years since last replacement/cleaning. I blew out with compressed air to little relief. Water leak causing wet area near master bath. People charged with cleaning need evaluation. Floors were not swept prior to check in. Even encountered an Eastern Hognose Snake in the kitchen at 2:18 A.M. Literally, roach infested; no exaggeration here. Garage needs service or removal. Counter top ice maker contained some mold. Garage and under deck was unnecessarily dirty.

Only disappointment was the listing mentioned a bunk house room where the kids would love it. When we arrived there was no bunk beds so sleeping arrangements after the initial planning was shot. But overall we were happy

Four generations of women/girls had a weekend of fun, fellowship and food at this beautiful home. We all traveled there from Oklahoma, Missouri and Mississippi, the perfect central location. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, everything was sparkling clean and ready when we got there. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was fully equipped for the huge brunch we cooked Saturday morning. The views of the Ouachita River out most every window and from the deck were spectacular! The Evolve team was great to work with, friendly and were prompt to answer my questions. We built some great memories and without a doubt, we want to stay there again. Thank you!

Excellent!

Everyone in our party of thirteen was pleased with the cabin, from the number of wonderfully decorated large bedrooms, to the huge kitchen, to the amount of space to visit and have fun. This was a group of mom, daughters and granddaughters from Oklahoma, Missouri and Mississippi to get together to celebrate birthdays. The location was beautiful on the water and close enough to restaurants, grocery stores and sight seeing. We would love to go back and visit again. Excellent!

Great location

We had a wonderful time on the outdoor patio, great neighborhood, easy access to boat dock. Lots of extra amenities in home. Mattresses are in need of replacing was really our only complaint. All pretty uncomfortable except master bedroom.

The view from the back deck was beautiful. The weather was a little cool early morning and late evening but the propane fire pit was everything! We really enjoyed our stay especially since this was the first our family was able to get together since COVID-19. The back deck was not very becoming as there was bird poop everywhere and the patio furniture was not very clean but the home was very accommodating and welcoming. We were given a late check out on Monday and we were happy for that because we were having to drive back to Dallas. I would recommend this home and we will be visiting again. Thank You!

Great communication with property owner

We were in communication with the property owner since booking. He was great providing information about the property and surroundings. The property needs a little TLC. A couple of doors had cracks (master bathroom) and just showed overall use. But the house had everything we needed for our party of 9. We loved spending time outside watching the lake and the street is very quiet - the neighbors were very nice as well. We would stay here again.
