The rooms were clean and well equipped with towels, blankets and other miscellaneous items such as an iron and toiletries. Kitchen was also equipped with cooking essentials. We did purchase additional supplies such as paper towels, dish soap and toilet paper. If you need a rental car, inquire with host as she may be able to connect you with local services. Overall a good stay, we enjoyed the location, it was walking distance to restaurants and the ocean. The house was a good size for a group of 7.

Close to Airport

We needed a place for one night that was conveniently located by the airport and this fit the bill; aa it is literally 2 minutes away. The area is quiet.

Great stay for the night!

This house was great for our party of 7. Barbara was excellent, she gave us directions to walk to the local restaurant & the kids played in the ocean for a bit. Our taxi driver Mr. Nice guy, was awesome too!

Really great location!

Perfect if you are staying over a night in Nassau and flying out the next day to an out island. Close to pick up groceries and to some good restaurants. Barbara is very responsive and easy to deal with.

Very roomy accommodations! Convenient to the airport if you need a place to stay!

The house was very roomy and convenient for our stay before heading out to the out islands. It was nice not having to go to the downtown area. There are many restaurants and a terrific grocery store nearby for shopping. The neighborhood is very safe. I highly recommend the house.

Close to airport

The home is comfortable and about 5 minutes from the airport. The Hostess was very kind and offered us a ride to the store for some groceries and to the airport. We appreciated her accommodations!

5 great days in Nassau

Home was comfortable for 8-9 people staying 5 nights, and we cooked several meals there easily. Only 1 mi walk to beach and good restaurants. Walkable to airport. Grocery store 1.5 mi. Very important to rent car far in advance as rentals are in shortage at holidays and taxis are expensive. We really enjoyed Studio Cafe and Meze Grille for nice dinners. Wonderful stay with friends and family, and Barbara was very helpful in getting situated. liked Studio Cafe

Close to airport

This was the perfect location for a one night stay close to the airport. We were a group of 8 adults and everybody had a comfortable bed to sleep on with the option of air conditioning in each room. (Thank goodness!) We travelled with food but no drinks, and Barbara offered to take us to a nearby store for a few groceries. We were VERY thankful for this kind gesture.

Got bed bugs anyone

the host checked in on the second day. But we soon found out that the house is infested with fleas and bedbugs. Everyone that stayed had bite marks on their bodies. It rained the entire time we were there and there was an odor of sewage from the side and back windows so we had to keep the windows closed.. The neighboorhood was not the best, Was close to the airport was the focal point. Would not advise to rent it

Mylan thanks for your entire stay. Mylan and a group of people which was over the amount that are allowed stayed the entire 6 days at the home. I caught up with them the second day and asked if everything thing was good and the response was it was great. I even gave them some advice on where to go to enjoy themselves, the conversation was just lovely. After they l checked out the house she contacted me and said there were bed bugs so she wanted a refund.. If bed bugs were in a rental from you got there why would you spend your entire stay in torture. I am certain that VRBO would have considered moving them if they had complained the day of arrival or the next day. I refuse to give the refund because the big group of people used up all the utilities which included the hot running water, the electricity, Wi-Fi and in addition that was a busy week for short term rentals. I shouldn’t be responsible for paying for any guests vacation . I have 133 reviews all amazing on Airbnb and reviews on VRBO and nobody has ever stated such a bad report about my rental. We go above and beyond to upgrade and keep the rental tidy and safe for all of our guests to enjoy. Furthermore I have many guests that return over and over again. The rental Is free of bed bugs and lice because we have no pets in it and do not allow guests to do so.

clean and neat

The apartment was just as advertised. Clean and well appointed except for the beds. The bed frame was a wooden box that made lots of noise whenever anyone moved in bed. The mattress was very hard and covered in plastic. The plastic made so much noise that it was hard to sleep. It was covered only by a sheet so made the bed very hot and sticky during the night.

Hi Kathryn, Sorry you feel that way. I also have a mattress covering on the bed not just a sheet. I keep the plastic on for hygiene purposes. Some people dislike soft beds because of back pain and some dislike firm so its hard to satisfy all guests. I will still try to see how I can improve the bedding. Thanks for your stay.

Nice home, mostly positives but,,,,

The Home is large and can accommodate a lot of people. The Owner is very quick to respond to messages. The access when we got there was a key hidden somewhere, no lockbox or keypad. 3 of the bedrooms had Air Conditioning, the one with 2 single beds had no air in the 3rd floor and was way to hot to sleep in when we were there. The home is in an ok neighborhood. Directions online are difficult to understand. We stayed only 1 night. There's maybe a 20 minute walk to the north where the beach is and a couple restaurants are.

ideal base near the airport : clean, cool, easy

Sweet little house ideal for small groups needing a night in Nassau when traveling to other islands bc so close to the airport and walkable to decent dining. Beds aren't the most comfortable, but overall great value!
