Moama Short Stay

Lovely place and close to amenities

My family and I loved the place! The owner was quite fast with her response. Best part, its really a 10 minute drive to the town center!

Great stay

The apartment had an air con problem when we arrived. Contacted our host & she immediately got onto it & sorted it out for us. Nothing was a bother to her. The place was a bit old but clean, cool, great location & had everything we needed. We would recommend this to anyone.

Excellent stay

Loved the clean sheets and towels, equivalent to a five star hotel. We have stayed in other accommodations which you wonder if the sheets have really been changed. So I’m appreciative of these good quality sheets and towels provided which you know are clean n crisp. Also am thankful for the Sukin body wash provided as I use them myself otherwise i’d suffer from dry skin if using other brands. Love the newly renovated toilet and bathroom and the complete laundry facilities. Love also being near the horse shoe lagoon which is but a stone’s throw away. Only downside I would say is the soft queen bed as I’m so used to a firm one and the unavailability of wifi. Unfortunately our Optus mobile was also not working too well indoors. Guess it was good for bonding since we are off from our devices but work had to be delayed. Overall a very pleasant place to stay for 2 nights.

Disappointing

We were disappointed with some of the cleanliness of the property. Starting at the front door, the garden was full of weeds and badly maintained. The rubbish bins right by the front door was off putting when there is ample room for them elsewhere. When we went out the back we were greeted by a thistle right outside the door that was well above knee height. The furniture was dirty and covered in cobwebs. There was a layer of dust on the back of the toilet wall and something smeared on the tiles. The carpet was in need of a good clean. I dropped a piece of jewellery on the bedroom floor and when I moved the bed to retrieve it found a thick layer of dust and dirty tissue. The fact that in this day and age there is no Wifi was strange. I have never Paid to stay in a place before and been asked to vacuum and wash floors before leaving. I thought this is what we are paying for, a holiday not to do your cleaning. Owing to the above I would hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Close to everything

Had a nice stay but we had a few things that could of been better, Its a lovely unit and close to everything, I think it needs a new appliances ( very small toaster)and cooking utensils ( frying pay handle dodgy) , the cooking range hood needs replacing, needs Wi-Fi, just needs a fresh up. I would stay again and the Host was great,

Great location

Lovely unit is a great location. Comfortably stayed 3 nights with 2 big kids. Could do with an update as unit is a little dated, and providing WiFi is a must.

Great family stay

The apartment was comfortable and clean, and well designed with enough room for our family. It was well located just over the bridge in a quiet neighbourhood.
