Welcome to Bear Cub Cabin, your private retreat nestled in the picturesque Leatherwood Mountains. Enjoy breathtaking views from the comfort of this cozy cabin, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Explore scenic hiking/horseback riding trails, unwind in the hot tub under the stars, sway in the handcrafted day bed, and immerse yourself in nature. Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, Bear Cub Cabin offers the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility.

Bear Cub cabin is located in the beautiful Leatherwood Mountains resort community, only 30 minutes from Boone. This cabin is perfect for a romantic get-a-way or a family vacation. The wrap around deck puts you right in the middle of nature with no civilization in sight! Stone fireplace for that perfect romantic dinner or enjoy the 42' flat screen TV for a movie night. YouTube TV is the service for standard channels.

With the tons of amenities offered in the resort (pool, tennis, hiking, horseback riding, fishing & much more) to the nearby High Country activities, this will be your ultimate vacation. The hot tub what very clean and felt amazing after hiking everyday and the cabin is very private can't see any other cabins around except for the ones way across on the other mountains

Got recommended this cabin by family and it did not disappoint. The neighborhood and cabin were beautiful, and the view from the porch was amazing. Also a great stay for my dog, she enjoyed all the hikes and hanging out on the patio. Will be planning to return in the future!

Our stay was amazing! Beautiful views from this cozy home nestled right in the side of the mountain. We spent the days hiking and the evening recovering in the hot tub. The little restaurant at the entrance was very good and convenient and the staff were great! Would love to come back with our pups!

It was a very nice location and very quiet and private. The driveway in and out is a little scary. The highlight of the property is the outdoor gazebo area with a swinging bed and hot tub. But if I’m being honest, it’s just a little expensive for what it is.

Amazing place to stay!

My girlfriend and I stayed the weekend here. The views were amazing along with the amenities. The living room has since been updated so it’s a little different than the listing but not by much! Everything about the cabin was so cozy and relaxing! Definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely cabin!

My husband and I visited for a quick weekend getaway. The cabin was perfect! Everything was spotless, the bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was very well-equipped. The outdoor area was our favorite part with the covered hot tub, swinging day bed, and plenty of outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend!

Great property with amazing outdoor space

This property was perfect for us for a getaway weekend. The outdoor space is absolutely stunning. We would spend the entire time there if we can help it. We will be back again for sure. Make sure to gas up before you get there as there are no close by gas stations, but that's a small price to pay for the location, view and serenity of the property.
