Awesome historical house

Lovely place to stay and a short walk from cbd. We were very comfortable and would recommend this property was especially good for family groups like ours.

An amazing stay in an older-style heritage property in a central location in Orange. We had a few issues when we first arrived, but Stuart and the team were incredibly responsive - we really couldn't have asked for more. The heating was OK - which is saying something as our visit coincided with a cold snap (max of 8 degrees during the day while we were there) - and it really helped to have the heating and lights already on when we arrived late in the day.

Pleasant Stay

Dora House was in a great location -good coffee shop across the road and a very short walk into town. It was very cosy with 7 adults and 1 infant. A small courtyard outside was a nice place to sit in the sun. Although there were 4 bedrooms, there was virtually nowhere to hang your clothes [ + no coat hangers] and a few repairs required. For the price, it was good value.

Adult family stay

Interesting unique property. Bedrooms were good but living room very small with limited seating for 8 people. The place was a little tired with the bathroom needing a makeover. The kitchen ware was very basic & difficult to prepare a meal due to limited tableware. The property was also not very clean.

Cosy and well appointed

The property is much cosier than the pictures show. Plenty of room for our family. I was impressed with how well the kitchen and bathroom was stocked - Not the usual 1 toilet roll and no cleaning products...it had everything we needed. Should note that there is no heating in the bathroom so if staying in Winter be prepared for a cold room. However every other room has heating. Would stay again if we visited Orange again.

Beautiful house and very cozy. Very clean and welcoming home! Owners are very prompt with my requests and very helpful. Location of the house is so convenient , we literally walked to the town for our dinners and arrived in 15mins.

We found the house to be in quite dirty condition-mould in bathroom, cigarette butts on back step, BBQ unusable, very dirty couch cover. Kitchen and loungeroom overhead lights did not work, not ideal for a dark house and with early risers. Beds very comfortable and house in great location but very much let down by it’s overall condition.

The Fab Four

Had an excellent time in Orange. Dora Hall is very central to many amenities - great coffee shop across the road. Beds were comfortable - nice fresh bedlinen and lovely big white towels. Access to the hall was really easy and the aircon kept us nice and warm. Thanks Dora Hall and Orange - we’ll be back!
