The home was clean and decorated very well. It made it feel homey and comfortable. We were staying with another couple and we agreed that the biggest drawback was that it was overpriced and there were too many tasks required of us that we haven't experienced in other VRBO rentals. For example, before we left, we were instructed to strip the used beds and place the linens and towels in the laundry room. Also, we were instructed to take all of our trash, including bathrooms and kitchen, to the trash dumpster in the back alley way (half-way down the street) and clear the kitchen and refrigerator of any remaining food, and load all dirty dishes into dishwasher. It was also suggested that we roll the recycling bin to the curb on pick up day. None of these things are a big deal on their own, but when you're traveling, it's a lot to remember and do, especially when we paid a high fee for cleaning--added on when we initially booked the rental. Also, there is no network or cable stations available on the tv. The instructions say you can watch Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon, but we discovered, that is only if you have your own account and login using your own information. For example, because there was no network tv available (all that would be needed is an antenna), we were unable to watch the Oscars.
