Awesome place to stay

Awesome place to stay. We were visiting family . Lots of room for BBQ and family visits Close to beach h but we had no car and are pensioners with a bit of arthritis so a bit far for us to walk very close for the young and fit No shops in walking distance but a great cafe

Great Place for Catching Up with Family and Friends

We loved this house inside and out. The location is great, a short walk to the beach, and stunning sunsets from the front verandah. The house itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, and the outdoor areas were great for entertaining family and friends.

We thought it was going to be good but was better than we thougt

Loved this timber building and all it's quirky aspects. We made so much use of the outside garden room with its sofa's..loved the unusual garden with all the pots ..ornaments...great sunsets 🌇. Restaurants within walking distances...great area for running along the coast.... and a regular bus along the road...

Wonderful stay in Quinn Rocks

The Blue Beach House is a unique, very nice place to stay in. Comfortable and equipped with everything we needed including a good coffee machine to make espressos like in a cafe, it was ideally situated on a hill close to the beach but not directly on the waterfront so no direct winds. Especially well done was the furniture and inside decoration and arrangement of the house. We met the owner who was very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend the Blue Beach House and come back if comes the occasion.

Location, location!!

Full of character, older style but many very attractive art works, ornaments etc. Extremely comfy beds and heating worked a treat! Lounges not the most comfortable... Well-stocked kitchen, beautiful bathroom and lovely outdoor area. Views to ocean a big plus! Easy access to shops, main roads, eateries. Highly recommend this venue 🙂

Very clean and comfortable

Excellent place to stay. Cottage is very clean with all the little extras you need. Especially enjoyed the portico out the back over looking the lovely garden. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful views and wonderful garden Parking was a bit of an issue , very small driveway, parking down the side, a bit of a walk to carry bags etc in and out .

Peaceful getaway spot close to the ocean

My mom and I had a lovely six-week stay at Helen's beach house. The ocean road is just a few minutes away if walking, and the beach with shark net and lifeguards is about a 15-minute walk or quick drive. Buses do go right by the house regularly, but we'd recommend a car rental. Quinns is the north end of the Perth suburbs, but it's easy to drive into the city, about forty minutes or so on the highway. For groceries, we recommend going north to Butler to the Coles or the new plaza with Woolies etc. Much less crowded than the grocery stores at the Clarkson mall, and easier parking. The house was absolutely spotless and well-appointed. The artistic, whimsical decor was homey and gave the house a lovely personality. The front deck was nice, and we especially loved the pergola in the backyard. So comfortable and peaceful. Outdoor relaxing at its best! We felt quite at home. Helen was a wonderful host. Friendly and responsive, and she was quick to bring up a new replacement pedestal fan for us. We only used the AC a few times when it was a real heat wave. We sadly had to cut our trip short due to the pandemic, and we very much look forward to returning to Helen's beach house in the future! :)

The perfect beach house

I stayed at the Blue Beach House in the last weeks of February/early March. Perth’s summer weather - warm/hot days and cool evenings and mornings was still producing its magic to complement what must be one of the most beautiful of any Air bnb property - anywhere. The Blue House is practical, exceptionally clean, and has everything you could need for a holiday by the sea. Helen, the generous and welcoming host, supplied all the essential food items for self catering, and the kitchen equipment and utensils, fridge and stove are excellent. The bedding is excellent quality and the bed very comfortable. Great TV, excellent wifi for smart TV viewing and plenty of videos. The indoor bathroom/shower and outdoor shower are bright, newly built and spacious. But what distinguishes this house from all the rest is the superb pavilion and garden in the “back yard” of the Blue House. It is a special place to relax in and contemplate the beauty of nature and human endeavour. There are comfortable sofas and side tables and subtely placed works of wrought iron art offering up surprise after surprise in this tranquil, peaceful garden, it is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Needless to say, I highly recommend the Blue House. With Indian Ocean views and cool evening breezes from the front verandah and the extraordinary beauty of the back yard, the Blue House is a special place for a great holiday. Oh, and there’s a barbecue out the back, and Helen’s communication was excellent. Perfect house. Perfect holiday. Thanks Helen.

No blues at this beach house

A wonderful and characterful timber house a few minutes walk from a great beach. Hard to say whether we enjoyed the ocean views from the front veranda more than the beautiful garden at the rear. Quiet and peaceful setting with everything you might need a few minutes away. We will return

Perfect stay!

This is a lovely, very well kept house near the beach. Everything you migth need is just there. Good internet, dish washer, perfect bed and a great couch to hang out. Although it was quite cold outside, inside we had a great stay. The owner was very thoughtful. The fridge was filled and she made us soup! Just great. Will come again!

Amazing home from home

We have just got home after a wonderful few weeks here. The house was just as described. We were visiting family who lived just around from Helen's home. It was beautifully situated,with views of the ocean. The interior is wonderfully quirky and the garden was an absolute joy. We would go back in s heart beat and thoroughly recomend it to anyone wanting a "home from home" holiday let.

Perfect stay in an inspiring and beautiful home

The blue beach house is located in the beautiful area of Quinn's rocks - an older area of Perth, quiet with a feeling of calm. It is located just a few minutes walk from the beach which is lovely an quiet. The blue beach house itself is beautiful, and the outside space is incredible, but overall this beautiful home is inspiring. The art around the home has clearly been done by someone with talent (I'm guessing, but I do wonder if Helen the owner is the artist). The soft furnishings are comfortable and homely. The bed in the master bedroom was one of the most comfortable ive ever slept in - and the sheets were lovely. The shower was heaven! The decor and design of the home and outdoor space is what really stands out though, and what really makes this such an inspiring home. Each day I managed to find something new to fall in love with in this home - I could move in tomorrow! The outside space is so peaceful and tranquil - I just wish the weather had been a tad warmer to enable us to enjoy it more. The little touches from Helen for our arrival were so gratefully received (especially after flying in with a toddler in tow!) - thank you! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us Helen, we had a simply wonderful time , we only wish it had been for longer. We will most certainly be back next time we visit Perth, and have already recommended you to our other family who will be visiting Perth next year.

Nice house

We enjoyed our stay. Is our first time visiting Perth with nice and cosy cottage exactly like e pic. Beautiful backyard with colourful flowers and comfortable bed. Helen is very friendly and able to keep in contact easily. We have all e privacy to ourselves. You have all you need for e kitchen if you planning to do some cooking. Easy access to the supermarket & drive through bws. Able to see e Indian Ocean from e front porch. Will visit again. Thank you Helen for amazing place.

Slice of Paradise

Wonderful 10 days at the Blue Beach House. Views of sea and sunset from front verandah, lovely fully renovated and tasteful house. Short walk to lovely beach and short drive to excellent shopping centre. The pergola and garden are truly beautiful - we found it hard to leave! Our host was very helpful and we will be back again. Highly recommended :-)

This place is wonderful

We had a very enjoyable relaxing few days up in Quinns Rocks - house and beds were very comfortable with everything we could need at hand. Both indoor and outdoor decor have an exotic feel, the owner's artistic flair was quite inspiring. The owner was very helpful and available. It was all very clean and tidy. A hidden gem close to beautiful beaches with ocean views from the front balcony where we could watch the sunset, - gardens contained native birds with many exotic & sculptural plants creating a really pleasant relaxing experience. Thoroughly recommended ! We will definitely book again when we come back to WA.

A short stroll will bring you to beautiful white sandy beaches or relax in the blissful bird-filled garden.

The Blue Beach House boasts a large landscaped block with valley and ocean views.
Relax and indulge yourself under the pergola and look out onto the lush, colourful and extensive garden, most definitely the best place to hang out.
Summer or winter this house is relaxed, comfortable and cosy, and decorated with an artistic flair. Beautiful sunlight streams into the kitchen and lounge room with wonderful morning light and sunsets from the front deck.
Start your day listening to the morning birdsong, and take a walk to the beach.
Guests have the entire house and garden to themselves with access to all the amenities.
The house has two driveways, and the lower one can accommodate a large vehicle.
