The host David is a superb ambassador for the property.Professional, friendly, concise and helpful.The property is ideally located for exploring the Old City, the Citadel and the fabulous Old Port.I highly recommend the place for a stay and will return in any future visit to that wonderful city.Thank you again David and Clara.

Perfect apartment for our star. Manages to be both spacious and cozy - and the private terrace was an extra lovely bonus. Dave is a very helpful and accommodating host: communication was clear, check in/out straightforward, and we especially appreciated the lack of complicated instructions for checkout as we had an early-morning departure!

(Note that we stayed for a month, so shorter stays might not experience everything we did.)Host Dave could not have been more accommodating, even taking clothes to a cleaner for us. An eager-to-please, friendly fellow.Living room, dining table and deck large and nice. Kitchen well-equipped. Main bedroom large and reasonably comfortable and quiet. Apartment is up a rather steep set of stairs.If using other beds, bring sleep masks, since there are skylights directly over the second bedroom and sofa bed, a giant street light right outside the second bedroom window, and window coverings rather sheer. And the street outside is busy.A rather "open plan" bathroom is shared by the two bedrooms--thin doors to the bedrooms, walls that do not go all the way to the ceiling and only a curtain separating it from the kitchen--but we and guests managed decently.A couple of blocks away is rue St. Joseph, with numerous shops, restaurants, and and nightspots, as well as two supermarkets. A surprising number of homeless people populate it but they do not bother anyone.Location is a short Uber ride or a decent walk from Vieux Quebec.

Everything we needed, apartment was a good size and Dave was very approachable. We were able to easily walk to most places we wanted to go to. The only downside for me was the stairs to take luggage up and down but my daughter and I managed.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place was very clean and had plenty of space for the four of us. The location was excellent — close to restaurants, grocery stores and the Old Quebec City. The host was very kind and welcoming, and provided us with lots of useful information on the day we checked in, which made our trip even smoother. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Quebec City!

A whirlwind tour

We only had a chance to stay 2 nights, but Dave was a consummate host- meeting us at the house and giving us the lay of the land. He gave some great suggestions for a walking tour that ensured we saw all the highlights of old town. We really enjoyed our stay!

This charming apartment was the perfect home base for my family’s Quebec City visit. It had everything we needed! Grocery, restaurants and cafes are just a couple blocks from the apartment and all the attractions of Old Quebec are literally a 30min walk away. Highly recommend!

Dave was very kind and helpful. The apartment was clean, cozy and very charming! Very close to restaurants and Old Quebec. Also very close to a river trail for walking our dog. To my delight there was a fenced in dog park at the end of the river walk. We love it here and truly appreciate the opportunity to be here in Canada. We love our Canadian neighbors!
We enjoyed a family game of monopoly after a long day of exploring the city!

These accommodations were great. Walking distance to Old Quebec. The back yard view is not great and the patio door didn't lock.

Perfect for a short break

A good place to stay for a short break - handy area close to restaurants etc and easy walking distance to the old town. Would have to feel comfortable with an open plan type bathroom if a bigger group were staying. Great facilities in kitchen/and clothes wash machine etc

Great apartment and location

We travelled to Quebec with two older teens and had a terrific stay. It’s easy to walk to Old Quebec and Rue St Joseph (groceries, library, great restaurants) from the apartment. The place had everything we needed and some great bonus items (records and a record player!) Dave was informative and friendly. We’d definitely recommend!
