Feeling relaxed and rejuvinated

The property is amazing, the units are huge and well appointed, the hosts were also great. We didn't have the best of luck with the weather, it rained most of our stay, but that only forced us to relax, which we did. I would have loved to have seen more of the property. We'll definitely book again.

The most relaxing weekend, at the most perfect place

My partner and I recently stayed at Mt Hay and were both blown away with how magical it was. We likened it to being/sleeping among the clouds. We had a wonderful stay at Mt Hay retreat, and truly relaxed! The weather was beautiful and the accomodation was even better. Only thing I would change is the pillows - they were really uncomfortable and we woke up with a sore neck. Other than that it was amazing!

Divine, relaxing, stunning

To the moment we arrived to the moment we left Anthony way extremely accommodating and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the surroundings are a site to take in. Waking up and having a bath, with a cuppa and toast whilst over looking the mountains, walking the property and seeing the animals going to have a swim in the pool and drinks in the spa were the perfect combination for the weekend away. A lovely hidden gem.

The staff at the Mt Hay Retreat could not have been more helpful. The site is a hidden gem in the hills behind Berry, with lovely, private big balconies looking out to the sea with modern utilities. The bathtub on the balcony was a special treat. Very handy to pop down to Berry for great Thai. Highly recommended.

Amazing views! Incredible quality!

We left our three night stay feeling on top of the world. Every intricate detail has been thought through with exceptional quality, comfort and specialised service. We swam in the pool every morning and afternoon and admired the beautiful gardens and panoramic views from our king sized bed. It's on top of the world!!!

A peaceful luxurious retreat!

Our hosts were welcoming and friendly and the suite was modern, tasteful and clean. We had beautiful views and it felt like we had the place to ourselves even though it was fully booked. The pool is lovely and there are lots of little touches that make this place really special. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Outstanding accommodation and hospitality

We were there for 3 nights during severe storms which cut off the road and electricity. The room was large and extremely comfortable. Extremely clean and peaceful. Our hosts were extremely attentive and helped in every possible way even though they were too inconvenienced by the storm. The property is so lovely we will be back for sure in Spring! Berry is a lovely town and the hungry duck an amazing restaurant. Also Savannah cafe the best breakfast. !

Just amazing

Absolute luxury, the view is phenomenal. Louise and Anthony (owners) are just amazing!! They were so incredibly friendly and helpful - went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. And it was perfect, we did not want to leave. Hands down numero uno in Berry, cannot recommend this highly enough.

Amazing is just one word to describe this retreat

My recent stay at the Mt Hay Retreat with my boyfriend was amazing. This adults only retreat was perfect with outstanding views from the private balcony which had very comfy lounge chairs and an outdoor bathtub that allowed you to simply unwind, relax and spend quality time together. The rooms were amazing as they were very clean, well kept and comfortable. The owners Louise and Anthony were amazing as they were always happy to help if required. The indoor pool and spa is amazing and the photos don't do it justice. The water curtain over the pool was a surprising find! If you are unsure about booking your next stay here, then you needn't be. The Mt Hay Retreat is even better than the photos provided and you will leave feeling relaxed, happy and rejuvenated. Staying at the Mt Hay Retreat is worth every cent and perfect for that special getaway!

Enjoy the amazing views

Just loved Mt Hay Retreat!!! From the stunning views, to the oh so comfortable and gorgeous lodge, and one can't forget the beautiful heated swimming pool. It was all great, can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you Anthony and Louise, I had a great, relaxing stay, just what I needed.

Absolutely perfect

Took my girlfriend up for the weekend to propose and could not have been happier with the cabin. We both absolutely loved it. The cabins are very well-designed and luxurious with incredible views and are private. We will definitely be going back.

We had a amazing weekend. The property is stunning and Anthony and Louise are fantastic hosts. The apartments are brand new, high quality and each have amazing in obstructed views of the valley and ocean. Would highly recommend!
