Fantastic home right in the heart of Robertson, renovated to perfection, every detail thoughtful and practical. We appreciated the complimentary wine and kitkats!! Recommendations from Iain for restaurants and things to do were on point, we indulged!! Highly recommend this home for an extended long weekend or week away. Terrific place to stay!

Lovely place to stay in such a gorgeous village. Had wanted to visit Robertson since watching ‘Babe’ Went to the Agricultural Show which was terrific.

My son and his family live in Robertson, so it is nice to visit and have the convenience of lovely accommodation centrally located.

Robertson is a Gem! The Old Bakery is the perfect location. Right on main road Hoddle St, next door to excellent pizza/italian restaurant, cool pub and uber cool cafe/cocktail bar Gibson of Robertson are a short stroll. Gallery across the road, antiques 2 doors away. The Old Bakery has 2 parts, I stayed in the one bedroom at the front. Lush king bed, gorgeous bathroom with rain shower, everything one needs and thoughtful touches such as welcome chocolate and wine ( hope I’m not speaking out of turn, the display in kitchen of wine, chocs and olive oil may have been a vignette so I was unsure and didn’t touch the olive oil in case and I saw a review saying the chocs and wine were complimentary). Quality toiletries and extras of towels etc. Kitchenette has all one needs and lounge area has large TV with Netflix etc if you need that but I enjoyed the local hospitality. Gibson is a touch of Sydney glam with a relaxed elegance vibe. Don’t miss it. Old Bakery perfect for indulgent solo, romantic couple or small family, even if one of the family is fur-just check with the host first for approval. I didn’t end up brining the pooch so didn’t ask about outdoor area to leave pooch if need be. Make sure you ask host what you need to do with pooch-bring a travel kennel etc. I’m not sure if there’s a garden area. Iain the host happily answers all questions. Highly recommend!

Charming property in a great location

Absolutely beautiful property offering great comfort. Spotless and neat, with quality fixtures. The best bed and bedding we have experienced. Right in the heart of Robertson. Variety of eateries just a few minutes walk, offering refined menus that showcase local produce. Ian was an exceptional host, fast communication, accommodating and providing support when we needed. Visually stunning and comfortable

No expense has been spared decorating and furnishing this place. Every room is visually stunning. Very clean. Very comfortable lounge and bed (especially the pillows!). The rainfall shower head was to die for! The reverse a/c in both the lounge room and bedroom heated the place very comfortably. Toiletries provided were also top notch and we had plenty of towels & toilet paper. Very handy having access to free wifi (especially as our mobile phone network was a little weak) Netflix access was a bonus as well.

Big surprise in a little bakery

What a surprise to find ourselves in the 'big part' of the property when Iaian accidentally sent us the codes to the wrong door. When we contacted him, he said, no worries, the other booking cancelled, so stay and enjoy the big house. We did. Stunning.

Nice highlands base

Nice place . Comfy lounge and bed . Not much room for stuff in the bathroom. Excellent base to come back to each night. The Richards garbage truck Gran Prix was wild and noisy Monday morning. Big changes in Robo over the last few decades . Gone from farmers and families to umpteen antique and coffee shops . If that's your scene this nicely renovated ex bakery is in a great spot
