Great location in a quite suburb

Plenty of room for everyone. A very handy location in a quiet suburb with no street noise at night as all rooms are at the back of the house. Would definitely stay there again if we were heading to Toowoomba.

Ridge House is in a great location. Slightly away from the crowds in town for the Carnival of Flowers but still close enough that it’s not hard to get around (if you have a car). The house had everything we needed for our two night stay and it was lovely that all four of us had our own room and there were two bathrooms and toilets.

Perfect for what we needed to visit family at Christmas

This property was perfect for us to stay at as it was in close proximity of our family who we were visiting for Christmas, yet it gave us the flexibility to come and go as we needed. The property has plenty of space for 5 adults. Owner Chris was easy to contact and quickly attended to any issues we had and graciously allowed us early access to the house as we arrived prior to the 2:00pm check in time. After reading other reviews on the property, we did think it was odd that there were only 2 face washers for the 5 adults staying, I had taken along a few face washers from home, so it wasn't an issue for us. Also agree with other comments and thought that the house needs a bit of a 'spring clean' as some areas needed a bit more than a 'regular' wipe-over clean. However, our family thought that the house was perfect for our needs as it was close to a mid-size shopping centre, grocery shops (Coles, Aldi and Woolworths), takeaway food shops and to our family who we were visiting and gave us plenty of private space to ourselves when we needed it. If we have the need to spend an extended time in Toowoomba, we will definitely contact Chris again to book the Ridge House.

Week stay

Place clean but Front door outside light not working (hard when returning home in the dark) Power point not working in one bedroom, we couldn’t put lamp on for children TV in living room had no channels Could not get WiFi from sticker on fridge Dining chairs fabric totally worn out, shedding on the floors when we were sitting on them No sparer towels. 8 of us and just one face washer in each bathroom. Just little sachets of soap in bathroom , so impractical Kitchen had not one cutting board We were so disappointed especially for the price I paid Other than it was close to my in-law’s home I thought I was ripped off.

Good value complete comfortable home

perfect for what we needed - double garage, 2 bathrooms and very good location in a really nice quiet residential area. House was clean, plenty of room, nice outdoor area. Very enjoyable stay.

Great accommodation

Property mostly clean apart from bedroom carpets that just need a shampoo but that is normal wear and tear. Host very accommodating. 2 very spacious living areas, bedding for 8, double garage. Well kept property. Will definitely go back if he’ll have us.

Very well presented house and very roomy.

Would recommend though could do with a couple more mirrors in the house. Overall a very spacious home, very clean and easy check in and check out process.

Work trip

House and location was great however the beds were extremely uncomfortable. These need to be upgraded. We all left with sore backs. The queen beds were the worst!

Perfect Home Away from Home for a Group of Ladies

This immaculately kept home was a perfect place for a group of ladies to stay during a series of workshops I was conducting in Toowoomba. I am a Toowoomba resident and teach fabric designing from my studio just two minutes' drive from the Ridge House. Instead of staying in motel rooms, 'the girls' were able to relax in a 'home' environment and enjoy the comfort as well as socialise in the many common areas for them to sit and chat, yet have the privacy of their own bedrooms.
