Great family house

Family R&R

We enjoyed a restful holiday despite non-beach weather and some health issues (expertly dealt with by Geelong hospital and Pt Lonsdale medical). Our two dogs loved the easy access to the secure yard from the house and all family members appreciated the generous lounge area. We didn't want to go home when our 2 weeks were up!

A lovely stay in a warm, inviting and comfortable environment.

The property is a home away from home, welcoming and comfortable - great for families. A few different zones enable adults and kids to have their own TV to relax, and the bathroom is spacious and clean. We loved using the little enclosed garden space for meals and to be with our little pet dogs. Well located giving easy access by car to Pt Lonnie, Queenscliff and Ocean Grove, there are also lovely nature walks in close walking proximity from the house. I stayed with my family (wife and 3 kids) and my Mum and Dad. Our host Kate and family presented a house that made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed this stay and would love to do it again!

Charming

Mid century modern meets the 21st century in this comfortable and charming Lonnie Beach House. Communication with Kate was excellent and the information pack in the house comprehensive. Our 2 Goldie’s were welcome and they enjoyed the secure and beautifully maintained garden. This house is within east reach of Lonsdale Links, pristine beaches and Queenscliff to name just a few attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights stay here.

Relaxing Getaway

Very cosy house with an easy walk to the beach (all flat). Very quiet neighbourhood and a great kids playground just around the corner. Lovely stay.

Cosy and convenient

We had a great stay with some family friends for a couple of nights. Kate's place was everything we needed for a short winter getaway. Highlights for us included the very comfy couch, fire pit out the back and park around the corner. The place also has great decor and a very functional kitchen. We had a lovely time!

Cosy with a side of retro

Had a great winter break here. Good value for money and property was as described. Well fitted with things you would need including hot water bottles. Great outside areas that would be nice to enjoy in warmer weather. Owner also provided a handy list of great local places to eat.

Outstanding stay at Lonny

We couldn’t fault our stay at Lonney It catered for everything we needed right down to a complimentary bottle of champagne Cleaners did an amazing job faultless Plenty of activities to do and seek out the only problem was we didn’t stay long enough to experience most of them maybe next year Thanks Kate you were easy and a pleasure to work with

Family Holiday

We had three generations of our family stay in Point Lonsdale for several days. All went very well. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The garden spaces were great for a quiet break. We were an easy walk to the beach. It was a relaxing fun beach holiday and we felt at home at the same time. Kate is an excellent host. Any question was answered promptly and local knowledge was available. Booking process was flawless. Thanks for the opportunity to stay at Point Lonsdale at your place.

Great place & Pet Friendly

Great place to stay. Very nice house. Communication with host was brilliant. Left us a few items that would help with when we returned with the puppy we were picking up. Bonus of being pet friendly.

Beautiful home away from home

Gorgeous, clean and beautifully styled property with everything you need. We had such a relaxing stay in this lovely house, comfortable beds, heating and cooling and beautiful garden too. We didn't bring our kids this time but the house is set up to entertain the whole family. Thank you for having us and we will definitely book again when next staying in the area.

Restorative retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at Pt. Lonny retreat. It was very comfortable & clean & had all the necessities & more covered. It was very roomy & the gardens were beautifully maintained with lovely sunny as well as sheltered areas to enjoy. Our little dog loved it too & it was safe to leave him when we ventured out on our own. We were initially concerned about the fact the bedrooms had fans (not air con) but they were fine & there was a great cross breeze in the evenings so it wasn’t a problem at all. The location to Pt Lonsdale is ideal, (a 2 min drive) or short walk about 1km, and Queenscliff a 5 min drive. Dog Beach (Narrows) 4 min drive & was great to have this off leash beach to enjoy at ALL times. We really enjoyed this sleepy hollow village & our host Kate left detailed notes for us & was always obliging & quick & easy to communicate with. We wouldn’t hesitate returning to her quaint beach house in the future.

Great holiday home in a great location

Kate's property provided a very comfortable and enjoyable stay for our group of 6, with the house being clean and tidy upon arrival. The property is just a short walk to the beach which was very convenient during our stay. We had a great time and would highly recommend Kate's property to anyone looking for a relaxing beach holiday :)

Great Point Lonsdale house for family

We just had a really good two week stay. The house is very comfortable and really well equipped with everything you need. Beautiful garden and great spaces outside for the kids and for evening bbq. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed it again.

We enjoy staying here, being our 3rd year. We have from 2-10 people stay depending on the night. Can arrive and immediately feel at home, has everything you could need. Kate is a wonderful host.

A wonderful haven to rest and relax within a 700 metre walk to the beach and close to Emily’s Pond.

Kate was a wonderful host- the house was wonderfully equipped for a relaxing holiday. Having 2 bathrooms was great as was the outdoor shower. I would highly recommend this property at Pt Lonsdale.

Point Lonny Beach House

My family & I had a great stay in this cosy home. Very comfortable and some fantastic retro style furniture that took me back some years… Point Lonsdale is a great spot to stay that’s close to many good spots including a beautiful dog walking beach a short drive away. Would thoroughly recommend a stay at this lovely property and area of the Bellerine Peninsula

Well suited to our needs

Another enjoyable annual holiday. This house suits our extended family well. Our older teenagers with friends and girlfriends were all able to fit in the house and bungalow, and eat at the large outside table we had some wonderful times. Plus the nights that were just the two of us we also felt very comfortable. Kate lovely to deal with also. Thanks for hosting us again this year.

Having grown up in the country and spent the last 15 summers holidaying in Point Lonsdale we fell in love with the beauty of this cul-de-sac boutique village. We have two kids and wanted to offer them the experience of country life mixed with the beauty of being seaside. We are thrilled to share our home with you and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
