Cosy and warm winter stay

It was great, cosy & warm, well equipped kitchen & pantry, very comfortable beds for weary Coastrek bodies

Good position but dated and tired.

Very narrow drive with shrubs brushing against the car on both sides!! The outside chairs and lounges mouldy and tired. The place looked clean but unfortunately infested with cockroaches and ants! Tired furniture inside - Laminex dining table chipped and old. The laundry was excellent- good washing machine and dryer. Bedrooms - beds clean

Hi Annie, Thank-you for taking the time to review 'Portsea Essential'. We're surprised to read some of your feedback as we haven't had guests mention this before. In regards to ants, this can be an issue across the Peninsula and anything at the property that might attract them (apart from moisture) is stored securely. In the years we've managed the property we've never had any mention of cockroaches but will investigate this. If you'd contacted us during your stay to mention this we would have sorted this for you. Regards, The Peninsula Escapes Team Update 20/01/19... Although we haven't had complaints before the owner had widened the driveway, replaced the inside table with a 100yo baltic table, cleaned outdoor chairs and property sprayed but no crawlies seen.

Portsea stay

A lovely location and extremely well presented house. Comfortable beds and linen, modern clean bathrooms. A well stocked kitchen with all appliances and a great outdoor area. The lounge room sofas did not match the advertised property photos and could use an update. Overall an excellent experience and we would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Very comfortable, modern and well appointed beach house very close to the best beaches in Portsea. Relatively inexpensive for the location. Four big bedrooms. Air-conditioning a blessing. No pool.
