So peaceful

The property is away from town and has easy access to the beach. Its fully fenced and the dogs loved it. Was a really relaxing break with a beautiful deck to unwind with a family.

Lovely holiday house

Love this property especially with the pet friendly facilities. It would be prefect if the house can install a light blocking blind, as it gets really bright early in the morning.

Great well located property in Ventnor

Here for the Moto GP on Philip Island at this fabulous well located holiday home. A lovely cottage with a great entertaining deck and beautiful front veranda. Rooms were spacious and well equipped with everything you would need to enjoy a holiday on the island. Only downside for me was there were a few fine dog hairs inside and more on the deck outside and as I am allergic to dogs it wasn’t a great combination!

Mini family vacation

Very impressed with the location of this property as it was central to everything we wanted to do e.g. take our 2 year old to the penguin parade and wildlife centre. The house itself has a great floor plan and good size backyard. Great value for money. Only criticism would be no heating in the bedrooms as they got very cold and no block out blinds as there are only sheers which let in a lot of natural light very early in the morning (5.30am).

Great escape at Ventnor

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saltwater Cottage as did out Golden Retriever! The cottage was clean, well equiped and very comfortable. We enjoyed the garden and the large outdoor deck no matter the weather. A short walk to the beach. Only issue is to beware that due to the location internet can be very slow.

Heaven on a stick

We found the accommodation and location offered by Saltwater Cottage on Phillip Island at Ventnor just perfect for our stay. Out of the bustle of downtown Cowes but only a short drive into the CBD and an even shorter walk to the beach. The cottage it’s self offered charming beachside character with modern amenities and simple layout. It was presented in spotless condition with all that was needed for a confortable stay. A large rear deck/veranda overlooking the rear yard and garden was a very popular afternoon location.

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful stay. It had all the homely comforts. The dogs loved the big yard and the fact we were super close to the dog beach. The bed configuration just needs an update as there is another double instead of 2 singles which was better for us anyway. Overall we would highly recommend and we will be back to stay again :)

Excellent accommodation.

So close to the beach. Our dog loved it too. Just be aware you have to take your own bedding covers and towels. Apart from that we had a perfect weekend.

Great location, comfortable and peaceful

Cosy well-equipped cottage. Good sized fenced yard for a dog, although the fence is not high. Perfect location, the beach is walking distance and we often had it to ourselves (April school holidays). The area was very quiet and peaceful when we stayed. Short drive to Cowes.

Lovely Peaceful Mini Break

You won’t regret booking this property. Lovely quiet area just a short walk to the dog beach. Lots of room for your pooch with a huge front and backyard to explore though lower side fence adjacent to laneway wouldn’t be suitable for those furry escape artists. Nice and tidy inside with a kitchen that houses any utensil you might need. The perfect spot for rest and relaxation.

Perfect choice for a short stay

We made a spontaneous decision to visit Phillip Island for a few days and found this property - location was great for us as we like to be away from crowded areas but in easy access to all parts of the Island. The home is very easy living with plenty of light generous living spaces indoor and out. We appreciated the more recent renovations to kitchen and bathroom and laundry. Well stocked with essentials although if you are a loose leaf tea drinker BYO teapot …. I know I am a bit odd these days!

Good location and nice house

Beautiful renovated clean house. Our furry friends had enough space to runaround in well maintained fully fenced back and front yard. Walking distance to beach and off-leash too. Out door shower was handy.. Keys had to pick from property agent office, otherwise we enjoyed the stay, will try to book again may be in this spring.

Beautifuly kept beach house only minutes walk from ocean

Lovely inviting clean 3 bedroom house with verandah at the front and large patio out the back great for BBQ and relaxing in the sun. There are board games to play and DVD's for entertainment. Surprised with chocolates on arrival from owners. Just a short stroll to the beach and 10 min drive to Cowes.
