Overall great stay! The screened in porch makes for an amazing view and comfortable area. All bedrooms are downstairs. The outdoor fire pit and on site creek were amazing. The home is a little older which is fine cause I am too, but the water pressure/drainage shows its age. The kitchen is smaller but if you know these things before you go it isn't a bother. Nothing we couldn't work through for our Thanksgiving meal. Thanks for a memorable stay!!

Great little spot for a weekend getaway with friends. COUPLES CAMP PARTY OF 6. Great private location. Love this little getaway!

New Years Weekend

This was a great stay over-all. The one and only issue with this property is that when you click on the address provided in the access e-mail, the directions take you to the wrong side of the mountain. In order to ensure you make it to the correct address, print out a copy of directions to the house as well as only use the Apple Maps or another like product. The house is great, quiet and has everything needed to stay unplugged for your stay. Alpine Helen is only approximately 15 minutes away and regardless of the time of year you visit, there is plenty to see, do and re-charge your internal batteries with. Anna Ruby Falls, Nora Mill Granary Grist Mill and the Nacoochee Indian Mound are just a few of the gems in the area.

Overall nice experience

Everything was clean and comfortable with two minor hiccups. The code we were given to unlock the door did not work. Fortunately, our son found an unlocked door on the side so we were able to get in. However, when I contacted management about the issue, they repeatedly tried to assign us new numbers that also did not work. This went on for an hour until we finally got a working code. Also, the heat was on an automatic setting that lowered the temperature during the night while we were asleep. The next day my husband spent some time resetting the thermostat so we were more comfortable.

Amazing Stay!

The location was perfect to fully enjoy what the area has to offer. Beautiful view and accommodations. The property had everything you could need for your stay. From the hot tub, the two fire pits, BBQ grill, porch overlooking the mountain side and running creek. We spent all of our time besides sleeping enjoying the amazing porch! Thanks for offering such an wonderful experience!

Great Friends Trip!

Wonderful house for a Friends Trip! Plenty of space for the 3 of us to have our own rooms. The leaves were changing color so the views were exceptionally beautiful! The house is down a long road so it’s very private. A little color added to the street sign would have made it easier to find when driving. I would definitely go back. So close to Helen and Sautee.

Overall it’s a peaceful place.

It’s in a great location. Home needs little work but I would definitely give it a 5. Just need better cleaning and fix few little things wrong.. Easy to get around

View, porch, property all great. I would give this five stars but someone needs to spend 5 minutes switching the hinge on the fridge, it is absurd to have not done that when it was installed.

Absolutely loved this cabin. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. The wrap around porch, let you enjoy the outdoors even while it rained.The attention to detail inside was like it was decorated by HGTV. The location was close to my favorite place Anna Ruby FAlls.

Wonderful place to get away

We stayed here with our one year old and absolutely loved our time! We got there late in the evening and when our little guy woke up the next morning, he looked out the window and exclaimed, “wow mommy!” We had the best time by the creek, ate on the screened porch and enjoyed the fire pit. The pictures are amazing, but don’t even do it justice. We will definitely be back! The town was great and we even fit in a trip to the GA aquarium.

Great stay!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Far enough away from the hustle of Helen but also close enough to go to Betty’s grocery. Our kids loved playing in the creek on the property, relaxing in the hot tub, and eating s’mores by the fire. It was amazing to wake up and have a cup of coffee on the porch swing or rockers. We explored numerous state parks And waterfalls, Burts pumpkin patch, a gem mine, played in the Chattahoochee River, ate at the cheese market (their sandwiches are delicious), went to Tallulah Gorge. We were able to putt putt golf, zipline and enjoyed the GA coaster. We had wonderful weather all week. Shower pressure was great! Beds were soft! Everything was clean! We loved having the washer and dryer. It was chilly at night and we were able to use the heat! There were also extra blankets if we needed them. Internet and WiFi worked great too. Our kids have said it multiple times that they do not want to leave!

Easy to unplug! The wrap around porch and hot tub were very cozy! Would recommend. Be advised there is no WiFi and no cable, but there are dvds.

Great getaway!

This property was lovely. The combination of antiques for decorations throughout with all of the modern needs was perfect for a tranquil weekend. There was plenty of room to stretch, and the covered screened in deck made a perfect place for the kids to play regardless of the weather. We will definitely be back! I want my own cabin to be just like this one!

Wonderful Gem

My family lived staying here. The property is beautiful, from the decor to the outdoors. My favorite space was on the screened in porch. We had family meals there and I lived curling up on the deck to read my book. We also had fun exploring the creek and utilizing the fire pit to make s’mores! My son loved seeing the deer come to visit. We will be back again in the fall to see the leave change and hope to stay here again.

Great Place

Our family got away for a short weekend birthday adventure for two of our kids. The house was clean and cozy. Loved the decor and the porch. The only negative was that we could have used an extra full bathroom but we made due. Late checkout was very helpful.
