We are disappointed with the negative aspects of this review and the fact that you see the need to put it on a public post. Over 20 years we proudly maintain a 4.8 out of 5 satisfaction rating. We normally put the heating on about 2.00 pm . Given your late arrival [5.30 pm] we simply forgot . As for the "dirty cup", we have no explanation or reason.?

Both your criticisms annoy us. We rang and explained the key collection process to you. We explained that we live on the property and you must alert us to your arrival to get the key. You are the first in 15 years to raise this?? Particularly upsetting is your bit about "spiders" We always get positive comments about cleanliness.[See reviews].. Why do all this in a public post?

Thank you for your review. We are always open to suggestions and constructive evaluation that can lead to improvement. Your review centres on "little things". We wish to dispute the facts here. 1. We do not advertise access to wifi or a coffee machine . Wifi is notoriously unreliable here and most people simply use their mobile. 2. The heaters and fire are usually started when you arrive . There is a wood heater plus three [3] electric wall heaters available to you. 3 The villa is only partially tiled and the bedrooms and lounge are carpeted as in most homes. Never any complaints before about this standard layout. 4. Our review reveals that we left 4 coffee satchels and 16 tea bags for a one night stay. Two coffee satchels were still left and several tea bags . What is your point about supply? Plenty for 2 people we suggest. 5. Crockery is not odd. There is a full setting plus matching cups and glasses. as well as extras for families and larger groups. 6 We are unclear about what "spare place" means". This is an insult.to us. We have a proud history and over a decade rate 4.8/5 on two websites.. On the same weekend in Villa A, which is identical to Villa B, our other guests gave us 5 stars.? The disappointing thing to us is that you could have discussed all this directly with us rather than do the unprofessional thing of writing a public post. We wonder at your motives? In future you might consider the potential damage you do by putting unfair and inaccurate comments on a public site. If you must comment please ensure they are accurate, fair and helpful.
