What a wonderful place to stay! Located on the rolling hills of Kiama Heights, with lovely views of the ocean and the cliffs, this property is the perfect place to de-stress.
We were welcomed by the ever-smiling Mick; it was a very friendly start to our stay - Mick is the perfect Sea-to-Sky ambassador! After showing us around the house, he gave us a bottle of red wine and a delicious ginger-chocolate slice (made by none other than the owners of the farm which the house sits upon). Needless to say, neither the wine nor the slice lasted very long! Mick then left us to ourselves with the assurance that if we needed anything that he was always just a phone call away.
The house itself is private and secluded. The surrounding hills are perfect for an early morning stroll with the dog. The property is pet-friendly, which means our doggy felt just as home as we did. There's plenty of space outside for pets to run and roam. The furnishings are super-comfortable, with deep-cushioned sofas. Afternoon naps in the rumpus room, with the warm sun beaming in from the east, were the norm. Evenings were spent cooking up a storm in the well-appointed kitchen, and eating out under the stars upon the very-special sushi table, which is recessed into the deck.
The views, the views, the views! The picturesque train-track in the distance, nestled amongst the verdant hills, evokes a Constable painting. The views of the Kiama Downs, and the cliffs beyond, are simply breathtaking. And with a full 180 degree view of the ocean, you may very well chance upon whales splashing in the distance; we, in fact, were privileged enough to see whales every day of our visit.
