アシュボーンの休憩の理由にかかわらず、「リトリート」ではリラックスするのに必要なものすべてを提供しています。 唯一の騒音はカンガルーの鳴き声です！ バスルームには、ゆったりと浸かる鋳鉄バスが付いています。 あなたが日常生活の喧騒から逃れるために何かを探しているなら、私たちはあなたをカバーしました。

Amazing

Have stayed here twice now. Very nice accommodation with a great garden. We used the outdoor fire which was nice. Also great amount of food , tea and coffee provided. Will be back

A truly special romantic get-away

I surprised my partner with a 2-night stay here to celebrate his special birthday. What a delight to have this delicious cottage all to ourselves, tucked out of sight of others, and surrounded by restful green lawn, hedges, kookaburras, kangaroos and assorted trees and flowers! With everything we could need ready and waiting, including a superbly-comfortable king bed, and everything spotless and tastefully appointed, it was so easy to rest and rejuvenate together at the Cottage. I just wish we’d had more time to laze on the sun-kissed verandah with a book and coffee... but what with all the nature walks, cafes and restaurants, antique stores, spas and galleries etc. in this region, we were completely spoilt for options to fill our time. It’s a great problem to have, in this beautiful part of the world! Thanks very much, Mary and Derek. We had a wonderful stay at your property and would love to return another time.

Wonderful cottage

This is the most beautiful and clean cottage that we had ever stayed in . So peaceful, a place where you can really recharge your batteries. It is close to great restaurants, walking trails and fishing , everything that me and my husband love. We will be definitely going back again.

Superb property

We had a wonderful time at the retreat. Mary was just a wonderful host and was very flexible with us as there were some challenges we faced before we arrived. Everything was as advertised and meticulously clean and beautifully presented. Wonderful quiet environment with regular visits from the roos and a rabbit or two! Could not recommend more highly!

Ashbourne Retreat

Extremely well presented cottage with great attention to detail and nice fittings/decor. My partner and I had a lovely stay. Ten min drive to Woodend for interesting old buildings and great cafes.

Outstanding Getaway!

One of the best retreats we have ever experienced. The cottage was beautifully presented and very comfortable. It had everything we needed and more! The setting is very peaceful and relaxing. We loved watching the kangaroos every day and the garden was delightful with lavender and flowers. Overall an outstanding retreat, not too far from Woodend. Many thanks to Mary and Derek, who made us feel very welcome. Hope to be back soon!

Farm stay luxury

Mary’s retreat was ideal for a getaway not to far from Melbourne. The stay was very comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable. Mary was very easy to communicate with and we can’t wait to go back.

So cosy & so clean

Hubby & I enjoyed our stay so much! It was so cosy & so clean. The breakfast & all the extra goodies provided were also really impressive. Surrounding towns were a short drive away, close & so beautiful. We will definitely be back. Perfect little getaway.

Social distancing

Absolute bliss! We stepped away from the madness going on in the world at the moment & found a relief from all the fear & anxiety hearing about it all. The peaceful surrounding gardens & native bush land with the sounds of birds over a lovely bottle of red & cheese was just what we needed relaxing outside in alfresco space.... Not a soul around but us! The bedding was super comphy & cottage was spotless & loaded with everything you could need. Perfect!

The Retreat at Amryhouse is extraordinary. Set in a natural tranquil environment with both manicured and emerging gardens, it offers a level of privacy and luxurious amenities that discerning romantic couples aspire to enjoy on their getaways. But it is not simply the setting, or the warm welcome that sets this place apart. It is also the attention to detail and the quality fittings that Mary and Derek have incorporated into the cottage, that make it exceptional. I don’t want to say anymore. I want this little drop of heaven to be my little secret. I selfishly want this place to be available whenever I choose. Because I have every intention of returning (repeatedly). In the meantime, if you’re considering this place or somewhere else, I suggest you choose this one. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Amryhouse is a true Retreat

The peace and quiet of this delightful cottage is perfect for anyone wanting to get away from it all. A beautiful setting with picture perfect views from every window. Gum trees out the back and beautiful lush green lawns out the front where kangaroos graze. The cottage is extremely well built and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Peace and Tranquillity

Thank you so much for a much needed retreat. We really enjoyed the complete privacy and tranquillity of the place. We loved every moment of our stay, the cottage was amazing, the location was perfect and the wildlife (kangaroos) was beautiful. Perfection in a Country Retreat

My husband and I spent 2 nights at The Retreat at Amryhouse. The accommodation was beautiful, with so many thoughtful touches from the host. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed a game of tennis just outside our door. Breakfast provisions were very generous and there was an abundance of lovely quality soaps and toiletries in the bathroom. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and friendly. We hope to stay again !!! Thank you Mary & Derek for a great weekend.

Lovely spot just out of Woodend. The scene looks like something out of Beatrice Potter, with the services excellent. Woodend is beautiful this time of year and I would not hesitate to return
