Spacious 60 sq metres of living with wood fire heating and split system air con to ensure your comfort in Trentham cool climate. The Guest wing of the Container complex consists of two 40ft High Cube containers, fully insulated with an industrial style fit out sitting on a sprawling 140sq meters of boardwalk decking.

Situated only one kilometre from the Cosmopolitan Hotel on two acres of forest, the peace and tranquility will only be broken by Kookaburras Cockatoos and Kangaroos.

Tranquil Escape

We loved our time at Phils place, it was more than I expected! The set-up was fantastic, it was comfortable, quiet and restful. We particularly enjoyed the wildlife hopping past. A truly unique experience and Phil's a fabulous host. Highly recommended.

Bit out of the ordinary

This shipping container property a pleasant 20min walk from Trentham main drag is a demonstration of clever design using simple, often repurposed, cabinets and fittings. Very comfortable with every creature comfort. Lots of attractive native bush views and occasional fauna. Phil is a charming host keen to advise on local activities and food, cafe suggestions etc. We are currently plotting a return visit!

Bliss in the bush

We had a lovely weekend away. The host was very communicative and inviting, accommodation was well presented and thought out. Would recommend to any couple looking for a quiet bush holiday.

Trentham getaway

My wife Julie and I loved this gem of a place hidden in the trees at Trentham. Phil is a legend of a host and what an amazing job he's done on the shipping container conversion! Highly recommended for a romantic weekend away.

Amazing container living

Somewhere a bit different to stay. Just a short drive to Trentham Main Street. Lovely spot surrounded by trees and wildlife. Everything you could need in a holiday spot. Full kitchen, wood fire, outside deck. Phil is a very friendly host.

Great accommodation

Staying in a converted shipping container might seem an unusual thing to do but we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in this rather quirky accommodation. It proved to be very comfortable, stylishly decorated and well equipped and it was set in a beautiful location. We found lots to do in the surrounding area and would highly recommend it.

Great experience

We loved every moment of our stay. The accommodation itself is both funky and functional. Highlights included the wood heater (with plenty of supplied fuel), loads of natural light and a visit from the local kangaroos most evenings. The location, tucked away on a quiet lane on the edge of Trentham, was perfect for us. Far enough away to enjoy the tranquility, yet close enough to appreciate the wonderful little township of Trentham. Phil was a fantastic host. He was always available to assist but we never felt cramped or overlooked. We’d highly recommend this option and look forward to a return visit.

Industrial style living in the country

The property was perfect for our two night getaway in the country. Cool, industrial style accommodation with all the required amenities for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Loved the cosy wood fire at night. Close to the main shopping strip. Great communication and suggestions from the owner Phil. We would definitely stay here again.
