DOLCE VILLA is a family friendly six bedroom home located up behind Tangalooma Resort. Perfect for a family holiday or weekend catch up with friends. Open plan living area, kitchen/dining/lounge open out onto the deck, where there is a BBQ. The Dolphin Feeding Experience is NOT included in your booking of this property.
This nicely presented home is quite quirky with a feel of beach and Bali inside. There are 2 bedrooms in this property both with king size beds and built in wardrobes, one of the bedrooms upstairs has an ensuite, plus a double sofa couch in the lounge room. There is a second bathroom downstairs. Great sized lounge room with Balinese furniture and a TV, lounge area opens out on the deck. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, gas stove top/oven, microwave, combined kitchen/dining area.

Linen hire is not included, if guests wish to hire sheets, towels, pillowcases and have made beds up prior to arrival, there is an additional fee of $50.00 per person not included in the nightly rates or clean fee.

Great stay

Have stayed at Dolce Villa with 15-16 friends numerous times since 2024 and the house is perfect for relaxing with a large group of family and friends. Great view over the ocean and wrecks, we saw whales 4 days in a row from the spa on the balcony, and the arrangements couldn’t have been easier with moreton island accommodation services.

What a view

We had a very comfortable and easy stay at this property and everyone was very impressed by the house. The owners are very responsive when contacted. The only difficulty is the access down to tangalooma or the beach for the more elderly. It is a steep walk down ,so I think there is an option to hire a buggy if needed. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay.

Nice stay

Our stay at Dolce Villa was nice. Great views and deck. We really enjoyed ourselves. Just a couple of things could be improved. Firstly information on how to operate the dishwasher and washing machines would be helpful. Also the BBQ is in very poor condition and was not cleaned properly. But all in all a nice stay. Thank you

Great location but the house needs a little TLC

We stayed in this house a fair few times and it is a great place however, the house is lacking a bit of maintenance and items that used to be here. E.g. Clothesline not there, Smoke alarms going off at night and don't seem to be inter connected. Probably some bugs in there but ceiling is too high to get to, No batteries in TV controllers, Fan on deck not working, window in bottom bedroom can't close. Overal still one to recommend but owners should invest a little bit to keep at a high level of quality.

Amazing view

This property has an amazing balcony with a perfect view even a blind to stop the sun in the afternoons magic However the kitchen needs a good clean out and the inside of the house needs a good paint job also had to wash all the mattress proctors when we checked in A buggy would have been greatly appreciated if it was supplied as the 4WD track was one of the worst ones we’ve been on We had a great stay but definitely needs some TLC

Great Views

Great house, great location, when we called up about a couple of the downlights not working the maintenance person was there extremely promptly and was very friendly and nice to deal with. There is plenty of space, and the house has a very good layout. The views from the deck are amazing and there is ample on street parking particularly good if you have lots of 4wds, boats etc. One of the things letting the house down is that there is no air-conditioning. Whilst this would probably be fine most of the year as it is quite open and breezy it was particularly hot and humid when we stayed and a couple of the nights were quite unbearable. There is some pedestal fans which work however unfortunately most of the ceiling fans don't work properly. The other concern was that most of the windows can be opened all the way without any safety screen or restrictors which are actually required by law to prevent kids falling out of windows. At one point we noticed two of the four year olds trying to climb out the window onto the roof. This then ended up being a constant concern the rest of the time we were there. It looked like some restrictors may have once been there and have perished or perhaps the house was built before the laws got put in place and was never updated. There was also a broken pendant light in the kitchen as well as heavily buckled timber flooring from water damage. I think it would be worthwhile having some tradesmen spend a couple of weeks on the house just to sort a handful of issues and bring this house back to its former glory. It's an amazing house in and amazing spot, and everyone we've dealt with throughout the process has been great to deal with. It's just a shame that unfortunately the house hasn't been as well maintained as it could be. Overall we still had a great experience.

Amazing view

Loved staying at Dolce Villa. Perfect for a big family or group of friends. I would definitely recommend hiring a golf buggy if you don’t have a 4wd as it’s a big walk up the hill.

Island Perfection

We love this house on Moreton Island. We stayed for 5 nights at Easter 2021. The house is a great size and easily slept our 6 adults and 6 children. It has a really well appointed kitchen and plenty of relaxation space. I highly recommend staying here.
