Great Getaway

Loved the privacy of unit. Kim is an excellent host and made us feel welcome. The garden is serene and so relaxing. Close to the beach, shops & places of interest. We had a wonderful stay and will return.

A lovely spot, well equipped

We had a lovely week in Coolum Beach. A lovely big private garden for our dog to run around and a pool all to ourselves. The accommodation is well presented and very comfortable, with plenty of space for a couple and dog. Will definitely come back.

Excellent pet friendly accommodation

Very pleasant stay of 8 nights. Lovely host and beautiful gardens. Conveniently located for beach, Coolum restaurants & coffee shops. Would certainly recommend.

Amazing

The location and cleanliness of this studio is second to none. The garden is breathtaking! I felt that it was our little paradise. I highly recommend staying here and our hosts were fantastic. Thank you Kim and Sammi welcoming us both to your little paradise.

Perfect Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pillow and Paws with our dog. Great sized yard that was very secure. The accommodation was compact but tidy and suited our needs. It was close to shops and a short walk/drive to the beach. It was beautiful waking up to the bird sounds each morning.

First getaway with pet dog.

This property was very well presented and the backyard was very large which was great for our golden retriever puppy. Close proximity to Coolum beaches and restaurants. Suited our needs very well. Thanks Kim and Sammi.

Genuinely dog friendly

I stayed here with my two large dogs and we loved our stay. I travel on my own with my two dogs and we don't need to rent an entire house, so this property was perfect! It's a compact space but you have absolutely everything you could need, and there is a lovely outdoor area and backyard which was all securely fenced and safe for the dogs. Everything was impeccably clean and the garden very well maintained. The property is genuinely dog friendly, my dogs were in doggo heaven. It was only a short drive to the beach, cafes and lookouts, and the supermarket was just around the corner. The best part of the stay was undoubtedly Kim, who was a lovely, kind and caring host. She's a genuine animal lover, and it shows! Thanks Kim (and Sammy) for a fantastic holiday!

A big disappointment

First impressions count so arriving at the property was nearly enough to make us want to leave then and there. The front fence was broken, looking untidy and uninviting to guests. The unit itself is under the house; not much bigger than a small caravan. No table to eat at inside so you have to eat outside which is undercover. No effective mosquito deterrents available other than 2 rusted coil tins. An electric insect/mozzie zapper would have been good. No patio heater. No little "extras" other than one packet of biscuits in the cupboard. The cutlery drawer contents was extrememly limited; quality was poor; obviously came from the op shop. No clock, no radio, no bread knife. The garden is neat and clean and dog-proof but that's all that can be said in favour of this tiny area beneath the main house's back deck. If you use the pool, don't expect privacy as there isn't any with the rear of the house and its deck looking straight out over all areas. The only space that's yours as a guest is an area of patio under the deck and the one room unit. We booked 3 days and wished we hadn't.

Cosy & Relaxing

Loved this place. Very dog safe. Our staffie had loads of room to run. Great patio overlooking the lovely garden where you can enjoy breakfast or a relaxing glass of wine. Property is immaculate and cosy. 10min walk to beach. Kim & Sammie are wonderful hosts. Would come again.

Clean, comfortable & convenient

Immaculately clean, beautiful lawn & garden, secure fencing for pups. Easy, quick walk to Woolworths. 20 min walk to Coolum beach & cafes. Short drive to Stumners Ck & dog off leash area. Kim was a great host. We loved our stay.
