Family holiday get away

We booked this beautiful home for three families. The house was more than enough in size for us. Close to resort facilities and had gorgeous sunset views.

Loved our stay at the top of the hill

Lovely spacious house with good size rooms. Very well equipped and very comfortable. The view from the deck across to Hervey Bay was amazing. Easy access to Kingfisher Bay Resort but a car is really necessary unless you are super fit and like a long climb up the hill! However, parking at the resort is easy. During our stay there were no blinds on the deck making sitting out in the afternoon sun a little warm! Overall, we loved our stay here and would recommend it.

Good House in a Great Location

Stayed for 3 nights with my family and my friends family. A nice big house with plenty of space inside and outside. We were a group 4 adults and 3 teens and the house felt plenty big for all of us. It has all utilities you will need for good long stay. It is a proper full house. Beautifully decorated. Very nice deck with great views (great for having your meals with views). We would have given full 5 stars except that we felt 1) the house lacked thorough cleanliness, especially the sofa. All the nooks and corners had dust and cobwebs in some places. 2) The cooking utensils were pretty worn out and limited (plenty of cups, plates, cutlery, glasses though). 3) Fridge definitely needs a deep clean (inside & out). 4) Airconditioner in all the rooms seems to be controlled remotely by the property owner as it kept turning off. There is a device in each room which enables this remote control of aircon. When I turned it off the aircon remained on (so it is not just a theory).

Great property in a perfect location for the beautiful sunsets🌅. Well equipped and very neat and tidy. Excellent communication with the owner responding very promptly. Would definitely rent this property again.

Huge and Beautiful house

It’s was a great choice that we stayed in this property, large kitchen and living area, we get to see sun set from the back yard deck. A lot bigger than what we thought. If I ever go to Fraser Island again I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to all my families and friends.

Perfect spot for families

A great house for families located near all you could need. Great spacious home that has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Owners were very helpful with answering questions and even left their Christmas tree up for our family. Would definitely stay here again.

Bright & Spacious!

We were quite surprised that the house was more spacious than the pictures show. There was plenty of room for the 4 couples plus kids that stayed. We loved the large well equipped kitchen, and starter pack of essential supplies. The owner was lovely to deal with and was available to answer any quick questions quite promptly via text. We would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Great place for a family stay

We loved our time at "Our Beach House". It is relaxing, secluded and quiet, is high on the hill with views across the bay to the mainland and the setting sun. Plenty of space to spread out. The location is close to all the facilities in Kingfisher Bay and is an easy jump off point for Whale watching or exploring Fraser Island. We would definitely stay here again. Access from the mainland is via ferry from River Heads. We would definitely take a car across as the road up the hill is steep and dragging luggage up hill would not be fun. We took a sedan across which is fine for driving around the village, then hired a 4wd to explore the beaches.
