Unassumingly delightful

We stayed for 6 nights and really needed for nothing. The shack is well equipped, tidy and spacious and it’s location is superb. Very quiet little town with closest shops 20km away, serenity at its best. If you are looking for a getaway that’s affordable, pet & kid friendly you’d be mad to scroll past this listing.

Perfect for us!

We loved this shack. It wasn’t fancy which meant that we felt free to relax & not worry too much about slightly sandy feet or making noise. It kept us warm on a very rainy night & the double bed was super comfortable. Thanks!

Nice Getaway

The accommodation itself was clean in general although hating spiders, I didnt appreciate walking through cobwebs at head & feet level. Also, the pic of the seaview led me to believe that was the view directly from the house but it wasnt. The beach is obsured but a hill & plant growth on the other side of the road so the view wasnt as good as expected. All in all though, a good trip.

Sceales Stay

We arrived in due date & got immediate entrance via a hidden key into the back door. The premises were clean & tidy. Being older meant that we couldn’t work out how to operate the TV. We also had to ‘pinch’ a gas bottle from the BBQ on the final night for the heater as all other bottles were empty. A lovely stay thank you. Des Stanley

If you want to relax this is the place

Such a beautiful to relax. The closest shops are at Streaky Bay but a beautiful drive. Just watch out for the roos about dusk. Daniel is an excellent host. Will definitely return to this place, that's for sure. Thanks Dan.

Great base for our holiday

The house was great and had everything you could need for a holiday. Short walk to the beach that stretches forever. Fishing in the bay saw us catch a feed of fish each day with plenty to bring home. Amazing natural wonders within a short drive although some required 4WD. Highly recommend a stay here.

Ideal Location & Facilities

Our family of five (including the hound) loved our three-day stay at Surfin Sceales. Ideally located across from the start of the beach, we especially enjoyed relaxing on the spacious front deck. The facilities inside the house were good, with plenty of room and amenities for a family or two. We hope to return one day soon.

Nice Holiday House

The location is great and the accommodation is clean. Spacious outdoor area for 2 families having a bbq and looking out to the sea! There was a bit problem with the gas and the stove/oven/grill in our last night staying, told the owner after we checked out. Overall love to go back again! Definitely will book again 🙂

Fantastic property. Beautiful location overlooking the bay. House has everything you could ask for.

My husband, three teenage kids and I spent nine days here. So much to see and do. We had an amazing time. The owners of the property are great. Would definaly recommend this property to anyone that want to get away from everyday life and realx.
