The Tailor’s Terrace , Kangaroo Valley is located behind the Tailor’s Cottage in an elevated position to take in beautiful views of Kangaroo Valley.

The modern architecturally designed home is located in the heart of the Kangaroo Valley village. It is set back from the road and is very private.

The house has a timber floors through, fully equipt kitchen with marble bench top, three bathrooms, two large decks with wonderful views and the house is supplied with everything you need to have a relaxing break.


Space

The Tailor’s Terrace is a modern, light and airy home with 2-bedrooms & 3 bathrooms located in the heart of the Kangaroo Valley Village. Experience all the village has to offer with just a very short walk (100m) to the village cafes, restaurants, hotel and more.
The large master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen and single bed. Both bedrooms have spacious bathrooms and direct access to the front deck with wonderful views.
In addition a cot/ toddler bed can be provided in either room if needed.
The open plan living, kitchen and dining room looks out to a large private top deck that’s the prefect place for a BBQ while enjoying the great views of the escarpments that Kangaroo Valley is famous for.
The house is perfectly suited for two couple’s to enjoy or for families to have a relaxing break.

Guest access

Guests will have full access to the home. 2 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, open plan living/dinning/kitchen and car space for one car. Outdoor space includes: front garden, Lower and upper decks, back deck and back yard.

Guest interaction

We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible and to enjoy their stay at house. Your privacy is treated with upmost respect, but if you need anything or have questions during your stay we are only a phone call away.

Neighbourhood overview

The Terrace is located in the heart of the Kangaroo Valley Village. It is within the heritage precinct just opposite the Historic court house building, behind the Tailors cottage. Osbourne park, Oval, children’s playground and village 25m swimming pool are directly across the road. The village cafes, shops, restaurants and hotel are all a very short walk (100m). Kangaroo Valley is uniquely situated between the beautiful villages of the southern highland and the incredible beaches of Jervis Bay. Making Kangaroo Valley the ideal location to base yourself to explore both uniquely beautiful regions. We provide our ‘locals guide’ in the house for suggested day trips and great restaurants within our region.
• Enjoy a bbq on the private upper deck with amazing views of the escarpments.
• Have your morning coffee watching the wildlife beyond the back fence. We are often visited by Kangaroos, echidnas and beautiful birds.
• Take a short walk (100m) to visit the village restaurants, café, boutique shops and hotel.
• Take a walk along the village path, enjoy the village scenery to the historic Hampden Bridge

Getting around

Walking is a great way to explore the village. Everything is within walking distance of our home. A car is needed to come in and out of Kangaroo Valley as public transport is limited.
