From start to finish, Julie was amazing, so helpful and really speedy to respond. The property is incredible and the view from the very large terrace is spectacular. This is a very special place. There are no negatives and we were very sad to leave.

Overall, excellent. Very well equipped property. Terrace was a real highlight with superb views. Cosy kitchen/living space. Only observation would be the rather vertiginous steps up to the top bedrooms, with limited head space. Not a problem for the younger members of our party, but should probably be mentioned in the details.

We had a brilliant time in this gorgeous apartment. It has the most beautiful terrace, good facilities and the water access across the street is just fabulous!! We went for a dip every day. The parking is good but we also used the bus which stopped just outside. You have lovely views of the bay and it is much quieter than being close to Kotor Old Town.

Prachtige locatie, uiterst charmante omgeving om te genieten van de zee en oude steden.Genieten van het uitzicht met een glaasje wijn op het terras.Keuken is goed uitgerust en we waren dankbaar voor de airco.Je kan op verschillende plaatsen dicht bij leuk zwemmen. Kotor is dichtbij en we hebben een leuke boottocht gedaan naar een blue cave. Alles was fantastisch.

Everything Julie & Nick provide inside property is first class.Outside Terrace is fabulous of an evening to star gaze and relax, Swimming opposite or nearby beach is delightful.Local restaurants within walking distance and Blue Line bus to Kotor is easy way to explore without a car.Red Taxi very reliable also if pre booked.

Unforgettable!!

We had such an unforgettable time at Julie and Nick’s place, and we honestly don’t even know where to start!First off, the view of the Bay from the patio is absolutely breathtaking—words can’t do it justice. The apartment itself is gorgeous, super comfortable, and has everything you could possibly need. Plus, the location is spot on—walking distance to great restaurants and a small supermarket.Julie was super responsive, and the local couple who looks after the apartment, Babu and Nino, were amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, even helping us sort out the tourist tax at the local office so we could just relax and enjoy our stay. They even went to the fish market and brought back fresh fish for us, which we cooked and enjoyed right on the beautiful patio—what a special memory!Julie also recommended Ivan, a super nice and friendly guy who took us on an awesome boat ride around the Bay. We had such a great time with him and can totally recommend his services!A huge thank you to Julie, Babu, Nino, and Ivan for making us feel so at home. We can’t wait to return and book this beautiful spot again!

Beautiful View and Amazing Location

Julie was excellent to work with. She had all the information we needed and provided extremely helpful information. The apartment is beautiful and the terrace really is amazing. I highly recommend this VRBO and I’m excited to come back to Kotor!

We absolutely loved this place. It was super clean, spacious, had the most stunning balcony and view, and it was bliss being able to walk two steps to sunbathe and swim off a jetty. The host was very quick to respond and had left us all sorts of thoughtful goodies, despite the fact that we are vegan. If we ever return to Montenegro we will definitely book here again.

Perfect spot with attentive host

We loved this property. Away from the madness of the old town, yet possessing all we could want within walking distance. Staying here does require having a car, however. We loved the patio overlooking the little beach. The host was incredibly thoughtful and responsive, leaving fruit, wine, and sandwich staples for us to enjoy. And when one of the appliances malfunctioned, she had it replaced within a day. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Great place, great communication

We stayed at this property in August of 2024 for only 1 night. We wished it had been more. The property is within an easy drive of the old city, and Julie very helpfully gave us advice on where to park when we went there. The air conditioning works great (August is very hot). We loved the outdoor patio! The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms might have annoyed our kids if we had brought with us, as they are adults and the ceilings in those rooms are a tad low. But that's a personal choice and doesn't take away from the property at all (but it could be a dealbreaker for some, like if I'd brought my mother). It's worth a shout-out to Julie for being a fantastic communicator. She was quick and also very patient. I had a million questions and she was upbeat and pleasant and helpful every time. Advice to any Americans who rent here: our phones stopped working at the Montenegran border, and I couldn't access the instructions for getting into the property. My advice is to take screenshots before you go. Thankfully the downstairs property owner knew where the key box was and I remembered the code - it's not in an obvious spot. Overall 5/5 stars. Would recommend to a friend.

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay! Beatuiful apartment, that is even better than described and seen on the pictures. Perfect location and the best host in Nick and Julie! We hung out on the beach all day, and went around to explore the vicinity in the afternoon. Incredible boat trip with Ivan to The Blue Cave, Submarine base+++ Highly recommended. We would love to come back to this apartment!!

Amazing place

We came here to chill after a few days in the mountains. It was super clean, had a massive fruit basket, bread and Jam waiting for us! We had a non swimmer in our group and the owner helped us get floaties. It was nice to go out front and get in the water, we went left out of the apt and found a quiet spot past the restaurant. It was easy to get into town in a cab and it was nice to have parking. We sat on the rooftop terrace at night which was awesome. Thanks for a great stay. Highly recommend this place

Perfect!

Julia is perfect host! The apartment is sparkling and has all commodities. Our family of five were comfortable. The terrace is indeed a great asset. You can jump into water just in front of the building. Excellent choice for great vacation.

Great Place to Stay on the Bay of Kotor

Julie was very responsive and helpful to us in preparing for our trip to the region. Her apartment was clean and spacious and a fun place to stay. The patio is every bit as beautiful as described. And the location on the bay is perfect. Its away from the congestion of Kotor but still has easy access to the town and sights around the bay. We would be happy to stay again if we return to the area.

Spectacular Place to Stay

Property was beautiful and the property managers were very responsive and went out of their way to welcome us. The property was in close proximity to restaurants bakeries and the city of Kotor. The scenery from the terrace was amazing and the accommodations were first class. Highly recommend this!!!

Lovely property, lovely views

The property is lovely and is mostly well maintained. We had a great stay. I would recommend the place to anyone. There a few things in the kitchen that weren’t there that we expected (unless a coffee maker is a plastic funnel). The information provided was for summer rentals and a little out of date. The mini market next door was closed, as were most restaurants. Advance knowledge of this would have helped our planning. We had to sort out our tourist tax and didn’t get the support as described. A visit to the tourist tax office in the old town sorted it for us.

Gorgeous view

Apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Julie the owner and the local mgt team were very responsive to any questions we had. Check in and out was seemless and the apartment is very unique with a gorgeous large balcony overlooking the lake. Three well appointed bedrooms and beds. And 2 full bathrooms was perfect for three friends traveling together. The road leading to the apartment was very stressful for me to drive it. It is very narrow and windy with blind corners.. on one side is the sea and the other side homes. It barely accommodates two cars, and of course the locals drive very fast. So that was the only bad thing for me but perhaps others have no problem. Other than that, I’d highly recommend and Next time we will stay longer.

Best balcony terrace ever

This is a great place to stay with a wonderful balcony. If stairs are an issue this could be tough as the stairs to the upstairs rooms are very steep. Also, the upstairs rooms have short ceilings and one of the rooms had a funky smell. But I would stay here again and Julie was very responsive with all communications.

Great property & a fab location

We really enjoyed our stay … the house was super clean, well maintained & equipped. The communication & help from Julie the property owner went over & above. She provided a great guest / handbook with useful information but also helped us arrange flowers for our friends birthday and transfers. We flew into Dubrovnik & I’m really glad we used the transfer company she recommended rather than a standard Uber / Taxi. We had not factored in the potential delays at the border .. our driver was fully aware in advance which boarder crossings had the shorter queues on our inbound & outbound trips so worth the slight extra cost. The house location is perfect … there’s a couple of little taverna / restaurants opposite & a shop not too far to walk. The lovely terrace get sunshine all day, it’s perfect. We found getting taxi’s quite easy if we booked in advance, we also booked water taxis which were fun & got paddle Boards delivered to the jetty outside the house from Jeffrey ( detailed in the hand book) The property manager was also really friendly and clearly keeps the property to a high standard. As well as the house being perfect we loved Montenegro … Kotor old town is great, all the people were very friendly.

We're a family of five, originally from the UK and now living in the USA. We first visited Montenegro in 2016 and have returned each year since - there's just something special about the people, the area and the way of life in the small village of Prcanj that caught our imagination.

This apartment was the property we booked through HomeAway, and stayed in on our second visit to the area. It checked all the boxes - excellent reviews from past visitors, spacious enough for our family, close to the sea and to lots of great restaurants and minimarkets for that late evening ice cream while watching the sunset behind the most fantastic mountain range in the region from the most wonderful seafront terrace in the whole area. When we discovered that the property was for sale a few months ago, we leapt at the chance to make it our own and to continue to offer it to people around the world to experience its charms!

The property sleeps seven comfortably. But by far the best feature is the wide-open terrace - the largest and closest to the sea in the entire area - from which you can experience the glorious sunrises and sunsets that this nook of Montenegro has to offer. From a more practical point of view, the apartment has been completely modernized with all new kitchen appliances, spacious showers, wi-fi and the all-important air conditioning to take the edge off those summer high temperatures!
