The home was lovely and clean and the views spectacular! Had everything we needed. The pots in the kitchen could be upgraded but a very small thing compared to everything else. Beds were very comfy and nice linens. Appreciated our stay.

Wonderful House!

The house suited us great! Wonderful, wonderful views, spacious, clean. Some windows and the master slide door don't have screens, so we were unable to leave those open, which was disappointing as I like to sleep with windows open.The only TV was in the living area, one in the bedrooms would be great. I like to watch a little TV once retiring to my room.Thank you for a great experience!

Mountain Color

The property was conveniently located with very good views and of ample size to accommodate our small family. This is the second time that one of my family has rented this property and we look forward to doing it again. The golden colors were at their peak along the trails we drove.

It was a beautiful place and incredible scenery.

I came in with my now wife and we got married here in Ouray. Perfect place especially the house. Deer everywhere! The view of the mountains was spectacular from the main room. Best restaurants we enjoyed was of course BonTon where we ate on our wedding night. Highly recommended. Anyway this house is a beautiful place to stay if you want to visit Ouray. Highly Recommended !

We were in Colorado for 10 days, but unfortunately only at this property for 3. It was our favorite part of the trip. This property was super clean, well stocked, amazing views and overall just beautiful. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Waiting on owner response

I had to give stars….N/A on most expected communication. That is one. Read below. We could not stay because we had 2 deaths in the family back to back just one day apart. It was past the deadline to get a refund. Owner uses Evolve to manage property, they cannot approve a refund. Evolve has been trying to get in touch with the owners for 3 weeks and they have not responded. I am sure the place was nice and wish we could have stayed. Downside to this property is its 3rd party management so if you have an issue it may not get resolved. Will revise with updates weekly. Just give us an answer.

Amazing views

If you’re looking for a home to stay in while you visit you Ouray with amazing views, then this house is for you. Five star views of surrounding mountains. However I would say that if you are a details oriented person there will be a few things that bother you….there were no plastic spatulas for cooking, I had to buy a lighter to start the grill, and some of the deck boards were loose. All in all though I highly recommend this home. Very comfortable beds and very spacious home!

Awesome Home with Amazing Views

We had an excellent time at this awesome home with absolutely amazing views. The home was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. The living/kitchen area are nice and open with fantastic views. The bathrooms even have awesome views! The full sized washer/dryer were much appreciated. This home is truly magical. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this superb property in Ouray. We hope to return to this same property in the future!

Great house for families and groups ... and the view rock

This house in Ouray was awesome for our recent framily trip! Location is a few minutes from downtown Ouray and a short 10 minute drive to Ridgway. No rooms lack for mountain views. Kitchen and living space was spacious and comfortable. While functional, the kitchen could use a few things like potholders, measuring spoons, measuring cups, and plastic spatulas/serving spoons for the nonstick cookware. We were happy to see the home was appropriately stocked with paper towels, trash bags, clothes detergent and dish detergent but wish the house included a few more bath and hand towels and a hair dryer (so lucky I decided to bring mine last minute).

Excellent Stay

Wonderful property in an excellent location. We’ve had our fair share of mountain cabin stays as a family and this was one of the best for us. Recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy the Colorado Rockies!

Spacious place in beautiful Ouray

Walk into the house and turn left to the great room for amazing views through the large windows. When you can tear yourself away from the views, the three bedrooms all with comfortable beds and separate bathrooms provide a good night's sleep. The kitchen with gas range is lovely if just a little under stocked. The pans have lost some of their non-stick ability. A knob is missing on the stove. Some plastic cups/tumblers would be a welcome addition to the nice glasses. Just a few nitpicky items and nothing that kept us from enjoying this place within a short drive to the Ouray Hot Springs. Although our party was only 3 people, this place would be great for a family gathering.

General rundown on accommodations

Very nice place as advertised. Close to Ouray in good location and meet expectations. Parking with trailers tight but made it work. Interior was spotless but the outside needs a yard keeper with a weed eater. Bring your own wash cloths because they had none…overall really enjoyed.

Wonderful week, beautiful setting!

Beautiful, comfortable home with glorious mountain views. 3 big bedrooms each with full bath. We used the kitchen a lot and could have used a few more things: serving dishes, measuring spoons, hot pads (had to use towels to take things out of oven). Also, the grill tools were tethered together with a heavy bike lock which made them hard to use and clean. Thank you for a lovely week.

Perfect

The house was AMAZING! It was super cozy with beautiful views! We enjoyed using the sleds they provided as well. It was close to town which was great and all the places there were very cautious with COVID which made everyone feel comfortable. The departing instructions said to place sheets and dry towels in laundry bags but we couldn't find any. I tried to text the host to ask but did not receive a response. I probably should have called but we were trying to get packed up and ready to head out at the same time.

Great property, amazing views

Enjoyed a nice long weekend. The house is beautiful, well equipped for a family getaway. The views from the living room are truly amazing. I could wake up to having coffee there every day!! All directions for arrival and departure were clearly communicated. It was a worry-free vacation!

Views for Days

This was the perfect house for a perfect vacation. The home was exactly as pictured in the listing. Some of the previous reviews mentioned that the kitchen was barren of utensils/pots & pans-but we were pleasantly surprised to find we had almost everything we needed to cook full meals. The house is conveniently located, easy to find, and super comfortable. The decor was wonderful, the beds were super soft, and the whole house felt super cozy. The views from this property are gorgeous and it was a lovely retreat after full days of wheeling and hiking. We couldn’t have picked a more better place to get away after the weirdness of this year.
