Wonderful home for a get-away in Rosemary! We've stayed here twice because it's beautiful, steps from the beach and town center, and we like the great little pool.It's also pet friendly! We had polite and fast communication with the manager and easy check-in. Only thing missing, that most other homes have we've rented in Rosemary, are bikes. Great place!!!

We stayed at Barbarossa for 6 nights in March/April 2026. The location is wonderful and super close to the beach! The location is definitely the best part of the property. We felt deceived by the listing because you are not getting a private property to yourself. The owner rents out the carriage house above the garage which is just a few steps from the main house. You share a garage and the walkways/exit from the property with the people renting the carriage house. Two different groups stayed in the carriage house during our stay and we bumped into them constantly in the backyard. The house is pet friendly so we brought our dog with the expectation of having a private yard only to get there and not be able to let our dog roam in the backyard because the other tenants were constantly coming and going. Also makes swimming in the pool less private when people are walking in and out even though they do not get pool access. As for the main house, for the amount of money the owner rents the house per night, they should really invest in some upgrades/improvements. The mattresses in the two upstairs bedrooms are super old and you can tell immediately. Only the downstairs bedroom mattress is decent. Also the showers leak water like crazy so the bathroom floor has standing water after every shower. There is noticeable rotten wood on all of the windows and the main door to the house sticks all the time so you have to fight to get it open. These are things that should be fixed.

Spring Fling

Our family loved our stay which encompassed Cinco De Mayo as well as the Kentucky Derby. Rosemary was a delightful place to enjoy family time together!

Perfect Family Time

We have stayed in this house several times and it never disappoints! The space and location are absolutely perfect. We have tried other locations in RB, however we always come back here. It is truly our special place for our family to reconnect in RB!

Great location, enjoyed the pool

Great location very close to the beach. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. The kitchen is well equipped. Property manager was very responsive when we had a small issue with the pool alarm.

Property manager acted promptly

The air conditioner went out upstairs during our stay. And we were very fortunate that the property manager addressed it immediately.

Two people in my party have mobility issues. The owner told me his house was not ADA compliant, but he omitted that the house is not even Florida Building Code compliant. Access into and out of the house was not safe. Access to the second floor was not code compliant. The kitchen window is rotten. There is rot and water damage at the outside porch. For the price we paid, it was very disappointing.

Great house!

The house was wonderful! Only downside is that the kitchen fridge and freezer is small. We had to run to the gas station every two days to get ice to store in our coolers. Other than that, we loved it!

Destination Christmas

The location to beach, shopping and restaurants was excellent for all occupants. With 10 guests we found the common living space to be tight. But there was an additional TV room on the second floor. For the price, we found the property to be tired and the interior could definitely have been cleaner.

Great location!

This property was fabulous! Plenty of space for our family and short walk to the beach as well as to shops. My only complaint was that the pool was smaller than I anticipated it would be. It is hard to tell in the pictures the size, but it was more like an oversized hot tub. Nevertheless, the kids enjoyed it and it was the perfect temperature all week. We will definitely be back!

We had a really great stay at this home! The house was in a great location to the beach and town center everything is very walkable. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. Bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty spacious. The kids loved the bunk room! Garage was small so no larger SUV would fit. Street parking was available though. Would definitely recommend this home!

Wonderful Location, almost perfect

This home sits in a perfect spot to walk to the beach and into town easily. The dipping pool outside is great when you want to just relax at home on a hot day. Our only complaints were the cleanliness. We like a very clean home and this was a 3 out of 5 for reference. Also, the remote to the television in the master bedroom does not work. If the property manager resolved these issues, I would highly recommend this property!

Great house and location!

Everything was great! no complaints! lots of restaurants nearby! Misty was great answering all our questions! A couple suggestions for any future guests. In general it is probably the same for most of these rentals. Bring some garbage bags and dishwasher pods. Bring some insect repellent for the biting flies on the beach (in the morning). If you have young children and are not renting chairs and umbrellas, you cannot use "tents". So bring a couple beach umbrellas. Small stuff, great vacation spot!

The pirouette is beautiful! We had a lovely time. The upstairs even has a living room where chatting, laughing and catching up is easy. We thoroughly loved the location.

Rosemary Beach Vacation 2021

House was nice. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware you would ever need! Refrigerator was on the small side. Had two family rooms but neither was big enough for us all to get together for movies or TV. Stairs in the house and outside had no railings . The outside had no railings for steps up to porch or down to pool. No railing on porch and there was about a 3 foot drop off to pool area. We really enjoyed the pool though. Walk to beach was not bad at all. The balcony upstairs railing had a slat missing...big enough for a small child to fall through. Parking is a nightmare!!!

Rip Off

Misrepresented, dirty. lack of furniture, lighting, furniture dirty, Garden unkept, debris everywhere, grill rusted and filthy, no instructions for TV's or channel index , chair cushions outside spotted and dirty, and mildewed, dog toys found under furniture, electrical problems, leaky dishwasher, washer leaked down into kitchen, silverware damaged from disposal, electrical outlets in upstairs fall out of wall. Too much money for this nasty house.
