We had an excellent stay. The condo was very clean, modern, and the ocean view was absolutely beautiful. The location is perfect and the resort amenities —pools, direct beach access, and gym— are top-notch. Communication with the host was fast and friendly throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back on our next trip to South Padre Island. Highly recommended!

Perfect Family Place

We enjoyed the condo so much. The view from the balcony is just gorgeous. Condo was well stocked and so comfortable. The Sapphire staff were all so friendly. The pool was gorgeous and so spacious. Beach was a very short walk and gorgeous as always. Thank you Mr. Gonzalez for letting us use your beautiful condo!!

Mini Vacay

Our family always looks forward to staying SPI and this condo was superb for our family. It was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We absolutely loved our view and location.

Beautiful location with an amazing view

Condo was beautiful and came with an amazing view of the beach. Everything was perfect about this location and we definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Owner called upon booking to give some details about the booking and even offered us an early check in & late checkout. Place was nice and cleaned and rooms were nice and spacious. I highly recommend this place!

Great but property very strict

Gilbert is great and so is his place. The communication with him is fantastic. The only reason for the 4 star is for the Sapphire itself. Very strict with so many rules. Kids can’t even play with a ball in the pool, no music, no bar or guests allowed. If you are visiting with no kids it’s great but maybe not the place for families with smaller kids.

Absolutely perfect!!

Unbeatable views, fully stocked, comfortable beds, large and comfy towels, a GIANT exercise facility that we used everyday! Convenient to all the fun activities we wanted to do. Close, walkable access to a beautiful beach. My daughter is in a wheelchair and there is a nice ramp going straight to the ocean. She loved it! Owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. Would 100% recommend this place!

Great break from it all!

We enjoyed our time there and the unit exceeded our expectations. Comfortable beds. Great view. Parking easy. The only recommendation is to provide a few more supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. We hope to be back, Gilberto! Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Best experience we’ve ever had!

Our 8 day stay was incredible. Gilberto was the nicest property owner and made sure everything was set for us before we arrived. He called me before our trip and checked in to make sure we had his contact info and a smooth check in process. The condo itself was gorgeous and had everything we needed. We loved the location of the condo, the Sapphire amenities, and the extremely close beach access. We WILL be coming here again. Thank you for the memories!

Beach Vibes

Property was as described. It was perfect for our family! The property loaned us a wheelchair to get my husband around! There were a couple of minor things that need attention such as; the remote in mst bedroom would not turn TV off, sliding balcony door seemed off the track, & I would have loved a small vacuum to clean the rug. Overall, I would say it was great!

Over priced and needs some Tlc

The saphire complex itself was very well kept and clean. The pool was very cold, it should be heated, also the hot tub was not hot so that was a bummer. 607 has a great veiw but it fell short in most other categories. The airconditoner was malfunctioning, the grill didnt work , and we were told a new washer and dryer were going to be installed a few days after our arrival but the new stuff was incomplete and was not finished by the time we left. The host was responding and trying to get things fixed but it was all to little to late.

Great View, nice condo

The condo was has a great view and has comfortable chairs (la-z-boy I think) in the living area. It was clean and the bathrooms/kitchen looked relatively new (maybe remodeled recently) with granite, etc. The Sapphire complex is a very nice. The pool is large (i.e., not overly crowded) and clean. When checking in, everyone gets a wristband and there is security at the pool and at the entrance to make sure outsiders don't slip in and activity at the pool is appropriate. At the pool, a few women came by and we heard them talking about not being able to stand it any longer at the pool next door. (Shortly after, security noticed their lack of wristbands and tossed them out.) But of course the place next door doesn't mind if Sapphire renters wander over there to buy some frozen drinks or food :<). This was very handy since the Sapphire does not serve either. The beach was just past the pool and also quite nice with very clean sand (little or no weeds or other debris). My only complaint about the complex was that the grill was not working. We rent condos frequently and this was one of the best ones we have rented. The next time we visit South Padre, we will be coming back here.

Perfect location, beautiful condo

This condo is perfectly located w center views of the pool area and the beautiful beaches. Condo is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The property manager called ahead of our visit to check for any questions and also checked in during our stay. The beach and pool were relaxing and fun during the day and we enjoyed the music from the Pearl hotel while sitting on the patio in the evening. The condo was very quiet and no noise from the pool below.

Best of both worlds

The location of the condo is fantastic. The property was amazing and the pool and beach were just a short walk away. The condo itself was nice and had everything we needed and Gilberto was in touch whenever we needed. You would be silly not to stay here ! We will be back

Great location for our honeymoon!

The facilities at Sapphire were great! The pool, view, and beach access were perfect for us. The only downside was the pool bar wasn't open but there's one at the Pearl nextdoor and the Holiday Inn on the other side. Note to other guests, don't be stupid like me and turn the switch to the dishwasher off trying to find the switch for the light above the sink 😂. Owner was really helpful and responsive. 10/10 would stay here again.

Best View!

Our group rented five different condos at this property. Everyone commented on this into having the perfect view. The decor and furnishings was nicer than many of the other units. Communication with the owner was prompt and they went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this unit.
