I chose this neighborhood because it captures the true spirit of Crete — peaceful, authentic, and surrounded by natural beauty. The village of Kallergiana is quiet and friendly, with stunning views of both the sea and mountains. I love the fresh air, the sound of birds in the morning, and the scent of herbs in the breeze. It’s close enough to famous beaches like Balos and Elafonissi, yet far from the crowds, so you can truly relax. What I enjoy most is the slower pace of life here — it feels like time stands still, letting you enjoy every moment.

This stone-built traditional home in the quiet village of Kallergiana, Kissamos (Chania) offers the perfect blend of authenticity and comfort. It features a private courtyard, ideal for relaxing in complete peace, while being just a short drive from some of Crete’s most beautiful beaches. Set in a serene location, it’s the ideal base to enjoy both the tranquility of village life and the stunning coastline of Western Crete.
