Perfection

We have stayed at this property for the last 3 years. This year it is under new ownership. They have made some great changes. We absolutely loved the outside shower, Air conditioning and the addition of the water spigot in the front of the house. It really helps keep the sand from tracking into the home. Our trip to this home is something we look forward to every year. You really don’t even need to leave the house. Bedrooms are a great size. 2 bathrooms!!! What more could you ask for? We just love it here!

Great trip!

We have had a most special and amazing time at Lightly Salted!  The location is beyond compare.  The ocean is literally out your doorstep, and is visible from every window.   With four small children, what a joy to just run out the front door to the ocean steps, but snacks, shade, and extra supplies are right behind you!  We were even thrilled to realize that the baby monitor reaches the beach chairs at the oceanfront.   Everything you need is right there - beach toys, chairs, and fun beach equipment! The house itself is absolutely charming.  The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for cooking, the cozy front room lets you relax with the ocean at your doorstep, and you get to view and hear the ocean from each bedroom.   Lastly, I would like to personally thank the property manager, Kerry Haggerty, for her diligence and responsiveness.  We had some questions at check in that she addressed directly and immediately.  We also would like to thank the cleaning crew, who did all they could to make us feel safe and protected especially during a scary and uncertain time for traveling and being away from home.

Camp Ellis House

We absolutely loved our stay. Joe was very easy to work with and quick to respond. The house is SO great because of the proximity to the beach. My kids said this was the best house we’ve stayed at in our six years of coming to Saco and I have to agree. The furnishings were lovely. The outside shower is awesome. The view is spectacular! We cannot wait to return next summer.

Awesome House on the beach -

The house was awesome. Would recommend highly. Great location right on the beach. Kerry, the property manager, was always available if needed. House had everything and most of all very clean. Can't wait to return.

Wonderful Beachfront Property

This was a wonderful beach front home that is well suited for families. Although located right on the beach, the location was perfect for a quiet week at the shore - we really liked having the options of being steps away from the water, playing on the beach, or retreating to the private beach behind the sea wall and the covered porch as the tide rolled in. The interior had all the charm of an 1880s beach house with all of the modern amenities. The property manager was very attentive and engaged. Absolutely no concerns or reservations about the property, we would absolutely make a return visit.
