This place was great. Great property, great property owner, great location, and plenty of shrimp, crabs and fish from the back of the house. We loved the daily visits from the little gator in the canal. My father and my son and I caught plenty of redfish in the local marshes around the area.

Best/Much Needed Weekend

Loved the camp. Beautiful and clean. My kids are trying to get me to move back to Louisiana. Absolutely enjoyed our time there. Definitely want to go back.

An amazing time!

Wonderful property, super friendly locals, and we saw a ton of wildlife in the area and out the back deck! Raymond was an amazing host. He was VERY communicative and helpful. I'd give this place 10 stars on everything, but there's only 5! My family and I would stay again in a heartbeat!!

My family said " we will come back soon"

Anything was good for my family, so the only thing we didn't like it, the creatures flying around the light bulb were so scary that I didn't dare go out on the balcony. That balcony is very beautiful, I think sitting and looking at the ship run, if you can get away from those creatures, that's great. Anyway, we will be coming back next time and I referred my friend to this location.

Labor Day weekend

Very nice property. Everything we needed was available. Easy location to get to and small neighborhood grocery nearby. 4 adults and 2 kids had a wonderful weekend.

Great Louisiana Getaway!

We wanted a change of pace from our typical mountain vacation so we chose Chauvin for the fishing and south Louisiana culture. This home is beautifully equipped with everything you and your friends and family need to have a relaxing stay. It is clean, spacious, and very comfortable.

Awesome place with a view

We have stayed here multiple times and have not been disappointed. The place is super clean and bed is super comfy. We love sitting out back in the evenings after fishing and enjoy the porch that is shaded in the evening. Thanks for sharing your place with us again. We will see you soon!

A time too unwind

The property was really nice and clean ,the house also was very clean, not too big but ! Not too small , met some wonder neighbors ,real loving people, fishing wash great , seafood shop was in walking distance, ,back deck is second to none when it comes , to the sun rise and set .a beautiful sight, will definitely be back next year, one of the best places to visit in Louisiana 👍💯

GREAT CAMP!

What a great trip! We stayed at this camp from 4/3/24 to 4/07/24 and it was exactly as described. Very roomy, very clean, and very nicely appointed. The area under the back deck is perfect for fishing and crabbing out of the elements. The location was great - close to several fishing spots that we frequent. The owner Raymond was quick to respond with any questions we had and was a pleasure to deal with. We will be booking this camp again later in the summer for sure! Just go ahead and click the "book" button - you will not be disappointed in any way!

Bayou Stay

Great location for fishing and visiting family. Back deck is great for observing bayou life and unwinding. Rooms are spacious, providing plenty of amenities Will definitely stay again.

Easy access fishing

Great location close to Cocodrie dock, where we met our guides. Spacious, clean, and comfortable house. We had plenty of room for good conversations on the deck or living room. Close to Piggly Wiggly. Very helpful owner.

Relaxing stay

The house is very clean. The parking was convenient some real nice place to come and relax. After a hard day of fishing. We plan on booking it again for next fall.

LOVED this house!

We loved this property. It was very welcoming and comfortable. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom was very comfy. You can fish right at the house and do some crabbing :)

We chose to select this area as we felt there was a demand for people wanted to come to the area for many recreational opportunities and there are very limited accommodations in this area. We are one of the nicer rentals available on the bayou.
