Disappointing at best. The wireless Bluetooth controller can not handle the data volume for just the TV; anytime you use your phone or computer, the bluetooth signal drops out, and you loose the TV, and other connections.
The Condo complex had multiple maintenance projects underway for most of the entire 30 days - walking on the roof, replacing cables, repairing bird control devices on the roof again. Multiple power outages during the stay. Water line issues caused water outages twice for periods of 6+ hours each time. The Condo Complex entrance was blocked for 3 weeks of our stay ( had to find a back way to get in ) . The entrance door lock is not readable to understand how to operate. You must touch the bottom left corner of the 10-key keypad, to engage the electrical system of the lock ( which of course is not in the bottom left corner of the lock unit- the bottom of the keypad is about 40% of the entire lock size from the bottom of the lock. ( hard to explain- somehow paint the outlines of the keypad with fluorescent lines). Water leaked from the dishwasher. Replace the remote control batteries on the room fan controllers - label the several switches that control the fans - power must be on, before the remotes work for the overhead fans.
It should be made clear that one must look into the ‘Welcome’ book to do any troubleshooting- and put the Welcome book on the dining table so it is readily visible.
The Bluetooth controller is the major issue. The tv does work for TV channels!!!! You must go to ‘guide’ on the tv controller, then choose a platform such as ‘Pluto TV’, or ‘Live TV’ first, before selecting a channel. The problem again is that there is nothing labeled to ‘turn on’ the Wi-Fi capabilities. The Bluetooth controller must be replaced with a much upgraded capable signal strength. The large TV requires too much data transfer ( so many pixels ) that it is almost impossible to watch anything without screen breakup, or repeat sequencing ( due to lack of Ram necessary to stream that many pixels).
Frustrating at best to relax at all due to construction or maintenance issues on a daily basis. Explain exactly where the #33 covered parking space is! It is across from the next building complex- about 60 feet south of the condo, and the uncovered parking space.
Good decor, nicely furnished, and with dishes etc. ( Not enough towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and zero bathmats ). Washer/dryer work well, as well as both showers having shampoo, body wash, and conditioner.
More specified written communication necessary. There are no Scottsdale Utility phone numbers listed to call for power and water outages. Where is the location of the swimming pool?? I never found it. Maybe a map of the Condo Complex, with a reference to the pool, and each of the 2 parking spaces would be helpful.
I will Never rent from an Evolve managed property again.
I travel to Scottsdale a lot. I stay in Scottsdale about 4 months annually, with stays’ lengths of between 3 days to 30 days each time. I also have owned rental properties since 1985. I have never written a bad review until now. Not the highlight of a lifetime!
