Very clean place. Very nice host. We ran the fans during the day and the AC at night and had plenty of prepaid electricity. We would stay here again.

Excellent budget stay

This is the second time we are renting this place. The owner is very responsive and cooperative. The place is clean and has everything. The neighborhood is very safe and close to major supermarkets. Excellent for the money and good overall. Highly recommended!

Looking for an authentic budget stay?

Lovely little hole in a quiet centrally located neighborhood on Bonaire. It’s not a resort, it’s not fancy, it’s a normal Bonaire home. If you’re going to be out driving or hiking all day, and are just looking for a place to crash and cook this is it! There’s nothing more adorable in the island.

This is a nice house located not too far from the town center. We enjoyed our time there. Basic, but comfortable. I like basic so there was no problem.

Casa Esther Bonaire

My goal was to find an affordable appartment outside of the touristic zone and still central. That is exactly what Casa Esther is. Spacious house, with nice, windy porch in normal Bonairian neighbourhood. Car can be parked inside the garden. Very well contact with landlord. Next year again !

Very good budget stay

For the money - 5 stars (excellent). Otherwise - 4 stars (very good) but I am low maintenance. About 2 - 2.5km to Bari Reef. We rented a car to go everywhere so the location was not critical to us. Very close to the supermarket and the gas station. If you seek a functional no-frills accommodations at an excellent price - this is it. Suggestion to the owner: include a GPS location of the property since it took us a while to find it. Or a better instructions on how to get there. But this is a minor thing. Mattresses were very supportive and I did not get my usual back pain in the morning! No hot/cold water - just water but was refreshing after some time in the sun. Hope to visit again one day. Thanks!

Deze was ons eerste air bnb en vond dat ik een goede had gekozen.. grote huis was perfect voor onz gezin van 5 (1 bijna 2 ,6 en 8 jarige kids). We verbleven daar 3 weken.. Communicatie ging heel goed, als we iets nodig hadden konden we gewoon daarvoor vragen. Was een supermarkt dichtbij dus dat was handig en ja raad wel aan een auto te huren zodat je overal kan rond rijden.

Lokaal huis

Prima verblijf in lokale woonwijk met mensen die elke ochtend naar hun werk gaan, met honden die de wacht houden en ezels, die door de straat lopen of rennen. Deze keer waren er twee aan het vechten. Er waren ook lora's in de tuin. De keuken is goed geouttieerd. Voor iedereen een plekje binnen of buiten. De auto kan in de tuin.

Zomervakantie in Casa Esther

Het is een heerlijk huis in een vriendelijke plaatselijke buurt. We hebben klamboe's gekocht omdat er veel muggen zijn (deze hebben we in het huis gelaten voor de volgende huurders). Er zijn supermarkten dichtbij en het huis ligt op 3km. van de kust. Achter het huis is een leuk pad wat kan worden gefietst met een mountainbike of gewandeld voor de sportieve huurders. Conclusie is dat het een heel fijn huis is met wifi en televisie, als het huis muggenschermen voor de ramen had zou het nog iets beter zijn.

Fijn verblijf met fijne en grote buitenzitje. Je moet er niet teveel van verwachten, maar het is prima voor de prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Enige nadeel was wel dat de airco erg vies was en deze dus niet te gebruiken was.

Wij verbleven met veel genoegen in casa Esther. Ruime woning. Alles voorzien. De bedden liggen prima. Huis staat in een wijk tussen de 'locals'. Dus je krijgt echt het bonairiaanse sfeertje mee. Maar je bent ook zo bij strand, winkels, centrum,kerk. Scooter of auto wel vereist. Erg vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. Evenals de check out. Gr Liset

Spacious 2 bedroom home, very simple but comfortable, charilley and her family are very sweet and helped us very well, the house has no warm water as many homes don't have on the island.
