Nice house for family.

All in all we had a good time. Just a few small issues. Fireplace out of order entire stay. They attempted to fix it but was unable to during our stay. We have stayed in multiple homes like this in winter park / granby area and have never run into not being stocked for a week stay. Had to purchase trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels , laundry detergent, fabric sheets etc. not a huge deal just not expecting this in this type of rental. One suggestion is more than one key for large families so that we can go different directions and can get back in.

Always the best

There is no better place to stay at Grand Elk. Never had to contact the manager. Everything worked perfectly. Very clean. Great amount of kitchen utensils and equipment. We had six and had plenty of room for more. The outdoor space is huge. Plenty of room for parking. I could go on and on. Second time to stay there and more to come. For the living space available and the outdoor space and central location, the price is very reasonable. Media room a real plus, as is the outdoor cooking and eating area. I cooked a 7-pound tenderloin in the indoor kitchen and it came out perfect. The whole place is a real wow factor.

Wonderful place for two families!

Everything was as described. They were so gracious to let us have an early check in as we had a wedding to attend. The beds, linens, and towels were especially comfortable which is always a bonus when staying somewhere! Thank you for sharing your home!

Excellent location

First time to rent through VRBO and the house was great! It even had things in the kitchen such as spices, coffee, sauces in frig and such.

Colorado Trip

This home is absolutely beautiful! Their were 4 couples and 1 child. We each had our own room with our own bathroom which was so perfect for privacy and your own space when needed. The deck and backyard were perfect spots to hangout. The views were absolutely majestic! The house had all the comforts of home. I highly recommend staying here and if we decide to take a family vacation to Colorado we would rent this house again!

Great group house

The patio/fireplace area and backyard are awesome, nice open kitchen/living space to hang out + make food. Only downer was the hot water/pilot light issue we kept having. Someone had to come out and fix it, but then hours later, the pilot light went out again. It took so long for the water to heat back up every time that happened, not many hot showers were had during our 3 day stay. But that was the only downside - the house, etc. were all excellent otherwise!

Excellent!

First class top to bottom. Clean, spacious, perfectly located, had everything we needed and more. Patio area (2 of them!) perhaps the highlight. Never once had to call anyone for help, repairs, directions, etc. All detailed in clear instructions booklet provided. We were part of a total group of 21 all 70 years and up Baylor University alums. Have been to Granby several tines, and these were the best accommodations yet. As soon as my group gives me a date, I’m going to try to book it for next year. A marvelous experience!!!

This house worked perfectly for our family gathering. It is well equipped and furnished. With 4 bedrooms it is also very spacious. There is plenty to do in the area, with skiing, sledding, tubing, snow mobiles and more.

The cleanest property

We absolutely loved our stay. This house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The owners were easy to reach when we had a question and helped resolve it fast. There was plenty of space in each closet for our stuff. The house is very large and there is a restroom near each bathroom. We loved the gas fireplace. Seriously this house has a great location and is the cleanest out of all we have stayed in. You and your family won’t regret the decision.

September Visit

We typically stay at highly rated properties. While this property did not have actual ratings on VRBO, it presented as highly rated so I took a chance. I would say that it came up short. When we arrived, the outside fireplace did not work, the grill did not work and the indoor fireplace did not work among other smaller issues. We stayed 6 nights and had repairmen at the property 3 different days so lost some use of those features and had to deal with repairmen. The instruction and information package was very limited at best. The footprint of the owners was quite apparent. For example, I stayed in the master bedroom and the dresser and closet was filled with the owners clothes and stuff so no room for me. On the positive side, the property was large, clean and comfortable for an active group.
