Beautifully-appointed, classic large estate home that was perfect for my extended family’s four-night stay.
Many, many thanks to Janet, a super host who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was great in every way. The home is gorgeous; every room is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well-equipped and easily handled preparing dinner for 20. Short trip to center of Keene, and lots of parking at the house. Beautiful lawns and gardens around the home; there were still some blooms in late September! Many fascinating features in the home, including beautiful mosaic tile floor in half bath, over-sized Wolf gas stove in kitchen, in-wall coffee/espresso maker, heated tile floor in kitchen, seven bedrooms with en-suite baths and very comfortable beds, large entry room to shed dirty shoes and gear, and for the musically-inclined, a grand piano in living room. The house combines historic significance and style with current technology, luxury and comfort - often difficult to find in a vacation rental. Host Janet was accommodating, responsive and thoughtful, and always available for questions. Highly recommended!
