Cute property with great amenities. Lived the hot tub and proximity to downtown. The AC was also a wonderful touch although we just opened the windows and didn’t even need it. It was also great to have a fenced areas for my dog to hang out back with us worry free .

Wonderful location and all of the amenities you could possibly need. We were traveling with an infant so really enjoyed the hot tub while she was napping. Caren was super responsive and very helpful when we left something behind. We highly recommend this home for your stay in Salida!

Our family loved staying here and felt the location with access to the cruiser bikes was perfect to get in and around town. We also walked easily into town and along the river walks with the pup. The backyard was cozy and cute and the layout of the house for a family of 4 was perfect.

Bill, our 5 year old son Max and myself (Caren) live in Breckenridge CO. I moved to Breckenridge in 1985 from Michigan and fell in love with mountain life immediately. Bill is a physical therapist and Caren is the owner of Blue Sage Spa in downtown Breckenridge.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

In the mid 80's I found myself in Salida working for Rocky Mountain Outdoor Center (RMOC) as a photographer. I would drive up and down the river with my Mother's old Cutless Supreme and take photos of the rafters, then drive back the RMOC and develop the film in a darkroom aka closet, give a slideshow to the guests and sell them prints. Did I mention I lived in a tent by the river as well? These were fond memories for me so when Bill and I had the opportunity in buy a place in Salida we jumped on it. Downtown Salida used to be a ghost town back then, but now it is thriving and it is so nice to see the transformation. The community of people are friendly and laid back and we love spending time here. When looking to buy, we tooled around with our real estate agent on our bikes and we must have looked at 35 properties until we found the house on Teller St. We love it because of it's fun and funky touches outside and in, but mostly because Bill and I have created a great outdoor living space that provides comfort and relaxation for all to enjoy!

I would say the unique benefits of this property is that we have all brand new furniture in the home with a mid century modern flair. We do accept most pets and have an enclosed backyard so guests can let Rover roam around without the worry of him getting loose. The outdoor living space provides ample room for guests to relax and enjoy themselves, and the hot tub helps guests melt away any tension or stress!
