First off, getting any questions answered by evolve was impossible. For property managers, they didn’t know anything about the property. I was finally able to get ahold of who I assume is the property owner. I asked very specific questions, mainly about the Rec center and pool. Would there be any additional fees to use the facilities. I was told they were all covered by the owners HOA. That was not the case at all. We were charged $10 per person. 3 adults and 6 kids - $90 and then they closed the pool early. Adult hot tub was closed. Staff was rude and I overheard 2 talking crap about our kids when their machines kept eating their quarters. Thankfully after an uncomfortable phone conversation, we were reimbursed the fees. Also, in the description it says “with shuttle service” again, not the case. They have limited days and only run the shuttle Thursday-Sunday. Downstairs bedroom with twin beds, the bed that had a trundle under it wasn’t in the best condition. The box spring and wooden slats kept falling, so you couldn’t really utilize all 3 twins. It was very hot and could really use a swamp cooler in the summer months, the fans were not enough. The upstairs master wasn’t even used due to how hot it was up there. Our kids ended up sleeping on the dirty carpeted floor downstairs. The cabin itself was very cute but needs a deep cleaning. The carpet especially was very dirty. Also, note that the northstar shops, roller rink etc are all only open Thurs-sun.
